Def, I was little shocked last year hearing he was on the dog house but glad to see him bounce back.

I actually think it's quite common around the league for guys that have some success in their rookie year. They come back thinking "they made it" and maybe don't work as hard or whatever the case may be; it's one reason why we always hear about that sophomore slump. In hindsight it seems as though Kyle recognized it early and while we were mad when it was going on; whatever he and our staff did seems to have worked and prevented him from continuing in that downward trajectory. It was well known how much Kyle freaking loved Aiyuk his draft year and I do also believe we see his best season yet coming up!!

Seems like Kyle uses the Doghouse to test the way a player responds and whether they need to put more draft capital in early round receivers. Pettis... fell flat, Aiyuk responded and now knows what it takes to be a starter. No one was drafted or signed to take over WR1 or WR2, with Pettis welp thats what led to Aiyuk.

Deebo too. The door was open to that dog house but he never made it inside but IIRC, he talked about how Kyle was on his ass too.

Kyle is a former WR so he probably subconsciously expects more and can detail why and how it should be done like no other position.

Do you think WR's need more loving and and attention than other positions? I'd like to believe we live in a world where everyone is an adult at that age, but that position brings out the worst in people sometimes.

Haha. Yeah, who knows. I'd love to read some sports psychologist of the connection of the diva personality and receivers.

Shoulders? Who cares. What about his calfs?

Calfs? What about his shoulder fitness?

OMG!
BA > Deebo is it happening? Has it already happened?

No

As of June 2022? Na, but I understand the hype. It's no secret that aiyuk likes trey more than Jimmy and I see trey using him like a safety blanket with the chemistry they are developing.

BA will be utilized more and have his best season yet but no way is he a better player than Deebo, even if his numbers are better. Deebo does more with less than any player in the NFL.

I thought that was Kyler Murray

Better receiver….I'd say potentially. But Deebo is hands down the better football player.
I see him having himself a monster year this season. Let's hope It doesn't go to his head come contact extension time.

I just hope we can extend BA bc a lot of teams can afford 2 good wrs (some of the best ones) and I don't want the Buckner trade to be for a lease on BA and/or Kinlaw. Trey needs his weapons and the salary cap is going up.

Just let MM walk and get replaced by Moore or Buford at RT and we're good. That 25 million for Jimmy G will help a little too, although most will go to Bosa next year. Just get creative in structuring contracts.

We will have the best wr duo since Boldin and Crabtree or Owens and Stokes
I don't see Aiyuk getting more targets, catches or yards then Deebo. That's just me. Not mentioned enough is Deebo league leading 18.3 yards per reception with short throwing Jimmy g. I think they both have big tears but do not see a 1/2 debate. I believe it'll remain clear. It'll be interesting to see if Aiyuk cuts into Kittle imo. Can all 3 eat?

That's my only question, I think Trey can lead to 2 of them having big seasons, but with our tendency of spreading it around I'm not sure we'll have 3.

I'm looking at 4,000 yards, a big season for WR's is what 1400? Big for TE 1,000, that doesn't leave much for the likes of Jennings, Juice, Ray Ray, Gray and the RB's.

So I'm doubting all 3 eat.
I think both DS & BA will have big impacts this season.

And when teams start figuring ways to slow them down Jennings will be the beneficiary.

I see him having a very big year too.

They won't, but they don't need to. Alvin Harper was lethal against us and he never put up 1000 yards. I think the RBs as a whole will eat, and likely Deebo and Kittle but it won't be the same way other top 5 receivers or tight ends eat. All three will make big plays that will demoralize a D all year long however. It's like having three guys in your starting 5 bball team that can average 25-30 ppg.

Those are my thoughts, and one of the reasons I can't understand why there is so much pessimism around Trey.

These weapons, with Kyle's offensive mind are going to be a nightmare for DC's.
