Teams won't do that because most of the targets it seems go behind the LOS in some fancy fashion. Defenses know Jimmy can beat them for that 10-15 yard pass here and there. They are willing to live with that. They know he's a Jimmy mistake away from giving them the ball or sputtering. He needs to make a few nice passes downfield in a row on consecutive drives for them to back off

Yeah I love Aiyuk, but they've all had some drops. Maybe they are so surprised Jimmy threw them an accurate ball they don't know what to do with it?

If I'm Aiyuk, I know that I'm capable of cooking the best CBs in the league. Thus, I don't sign an extension with the 49ers, sign a short deal with a team like the Chiefs, Bills or a team that has an elite QB+Pass-centric offense, go off and then proceed to collect the bag.

Good question. Idk at the moment but I can do some research later to find out where we sit at drop rate.
