I would say pro football reference is definitely on the extreme end of recorded drops. I wonder where they have us vs the rest of the league?

Aiyuk and Ray-Ray look like the better options at WR. Deebo is definitely going through a slump this season.

Do they have a chart like the one I provided?

Nevermind.

You were right when you sort it by drop%.

I like the rate or % stats more than the accumulative stats.

Someone had brought up throwaways in the Jimmy thread. We are tied for last in the league in throwaways.

If you do the math, the difference between the worst and best drop percentages amount to abut 2 per game if you use an average of 35 attempts. If you look at the top 20 it's about 1.4 per game. We aren't talking about huge numbers. The real issue is when the drops occur. A drop in the end zone is way worse than one one the 40 yard line. If the receiver drops a pass when he's wide open with a clear path to the end zone it's far worse than a 5 or 10 yard throw that was going to be a short gain.

i'd say the down on which the drop occurs is even more important than the location on the field. a 3rd down drop is drive killer or the difference between a FG and a TD.

I would love a yards lost d/t penalties and yards lost d/t drops.

Look now. I am going to have to start charging you.

Haha. If you can come up with those two, we'd all chip in to pay you!

PS: I doubt either exist.

Very true. Jeff Wilson dropped a TD on Sunday. CMC makes that catch.

That too.
