Something has got to give.. you see this with TEN dealing AJ Brown drafting Burks get back on the rook pay scale

How'd that work out for them so far? About as well as us trading Buckner and drafting Kinlaw.
I don't see us trading Aiyuk at this point, because nobody else on this offense has his skillset.

Especially since Deebo Samuel misses a few games each year
It'll be a tough decision. Those teams didn't have a highly paid LT, MIKE, Edge, TE, WR, RB. But Aiyuk is a stud that is better than his production numbers suggest. If I were him, I'd want to hit free agency.
Yeah if we pick up his option and then hopefully extend him that would be the best bet. If he was smart he would get more in free agency however I know he wants to win a Super Bowl. I think if we win the Super Bowl this year he could most likely be gone. If we don't I think he will stay. Also those teams were stacked, especially Tampa Bay, they had the sack leader at edge they were paying their tackle a lot, they paid so many people including their linebackers so I know we can do it we just have to extend him and back load the contract
Guap.

Would make the WR core paper thin. JJ is a great 3rd WR in the slot that's it. Deebo stays on the injury report and after that it's a bunch of unknowns. If they desire to win a SB this year Yuk will be apart of that otherwise we wouldn't get close.

Two more years with both Deebo and Aiyuk. Then Aiyuk's extension kicks in and we move Deebo in the last year of his deal. IMO

Someone please translate in proper English
LMAO.
He's saying that if he didn't play in a run centric offense, he'd get more targets, yards, TD's, etc. plus more respect and money (in FA; and he will) but at the same token, he's proud of still getting 1K yards in that kind of offense as that's probably like 1.5K in a pass centric offense.
IMHO, he's gone but we'll see.

I agree this is more likely to happen.
I'm just saying I wouldn't be shocked if we traded Aiyuk this offseason. I know a lot of fans, and Aiyuk, would be shocked.

I'm not saying do it I'm just saying I don't see how we pay Deebo, Kittle, Juice, Trent, CMC, BA.. all off the rook contract, on the fat 2nd / 3rd contracts.. doesn't add up folks, basic math or maths as they say

The salary cap will go up we will pick up his fifth year option and go from there. There's always a player being released or a restructure that can make it work. Now if Brock Purdy is our starting quarterback he can easily be affordable.

I think It's more likely that Aiyuk gets traded since Kyle loves him some Deebo.

I love BA, and he's been improving consistently, but imo he ain't getting paid like Deebo unless he has a huge year. If that's the case it's a good problem to have.

Overthecap says the cap will go up $48M by 2025. That makes room for some guys.

Exactly and BA will be priority by then let's hope. We need as many offensive weapons as possible to beat KC Buff or Cinn and by that time CMC might be less effective

I brought it up all year that I'm not sure Aiyuk wants to be here. His body language at times showed a demonstrably unhappy player. He likely wants to go somewhere where he be the guy, cook DBs and not have to worry about blocking, and most importantly: secure the bag. Taking my 49ers' bias out, I don't really blame him on a personal level, either. Aiyuk's game is going to age well, and it would be wise for the 49ers' to keep him around. But I don't think it will come down to keeping either Deebo or Aiyuk. I think Aiyuk will make that decision for the organization.
