Obviously I would rather keep them both but another stud DL is very very tempting.

I would trade both to LAC for Joey. That would be a dream.

Especially since Deebo Samuel misses a few games each year
It'll be a tough decision. Those teams didn't have a highly paid LT, MIKE, Edge, TE, WR, RB. But Aiyuk is a stud that is better than his production numbers suggest. If I were him, I'd want to hit free agency.
Yeah if we pick up his option and then hopefully extend him that would be the best bet. If he was smart he would get more in free agency however I know he wants to win a Super Bowl. I think if we win the Super Bowl this year he could most likely be gone. If we don't I think he will stay. Also those teams were stacked, especially Tampa Bay, they had the sack leader at edge they were paying their tackle a lot, they paid so many people including their linebackers so I know we can do it we just have to extend him and back load the contract
Guap.
It wouldn't shock me at all if we traded Aiyuk for a first rounder this offseason.
s**tttttttt I hope not ????. However you can kind of see the handwriting on the wall. He wants to get paid because he knows he's so much better than his stats reflect and the fact that he said he's the fourth option shows he might want to be the number one or two option somewhere else. This sucks we have to win the Super Bowl this year

Two more years with both Deebo and Aiyuk. Then Aiyuk's extension kicks in and we move Deebo in the last year of his deal. IMO
I have an idea that they may choose Aiyuk and Deebo's third contract is with another team. It would hurt me deep, but it makes the most sense.

I brought it up all year that I'm not sure Aiyuk wants to be here. His body language at times showed a demonstrably unhappy player. He likely wants to go somewhere where he be the guy, cook DBs and not have to worry about blocking, and most importantly: secure the bag. Taking my 49ers' bias out, I don't really blame him on a personal level, either. Aiyuk's game is going to age well, and it would be wise for the 49ers' to keep him around. But I don't think it will come down to keeping either Deebo or Aiyuk. I think Aiyuk will make that decision for the organization.
I think he definitely knows he can be a lot more. I don't think the blocking bothers him though. He's a football player, in the sense of going all out and laying it on the line to win. But I agree with you about aging well. I think Aiyuk is gonna be a player post 30 easily. Deebo, I'm not as confident. Plus while I'm more forgiving than others for his down year, he was too easily slowed down given his price tag. Even now, CMC is weapon #1 at half the price. May need to invest in the multidimensional player in next years draft (2nd or 3rd round).
I wish we could keep them all, but you can't.

Nothing will get done this offseason imo on a trade as we are all in to win a chip and he's under contract.. rubber may hit the road but not until future

I don't think it's the act of blocking itself that bothers him, but rather the inordinate amount of snaps spent blocking. Dude likely just wants to run routes, cook DBs and get a ton of targets as the guy in a pass-friendly offense. There's a reason he specifically mentioned 4th target and in a run first offense followed by laughing emojis in his tweet.
The writing is on the wall, IMO. It's been there all season. It's been brought up multiple times throughout the season. Those not acknowledging it aren't paying attention or trying to convince themselves otherwise.

Hard to debate that. Aiyuk is our best overall WR. Deebo is a great FOOTBALL PLAYER. There is a difference and I think that's what you're saying. I love deebo but I worry about longevity. Same thing with kittle. When people are that physical every play.. it's fun as hell to watch and effective, but idk how long it'll last.
we are in a great spot skill position wise, though. I hope both stay here and I don't want either traded or leaving. They compliment each other very well and would be difficult to replace

I know I will catch a lot of flack for this but honestly, I believe CMC has made Deebo obsolete.

I love the Deebo CMC combo. They are unique players and it is good to have two to take the load or if the other is banged up for some games. Guys that can take it to the house from anywhere on the field are more rare than route runners and put more stress on a defense. I feel like we can replace a route runner

Solid route runners are not a dime a dozen and aren't easy to replace as you say. Deebo can't even stay healthy and relies heavily on Kyle's play calling to get him the ball. Deebo the RB was terrible last season outside of a carry or two. In fact without the 51 and 39 yard runs that he had in the 1st half of the 2022 season, he averaged 3.3 YPC. As a receiver, QB's had a 87.1 passer rating when targeting him last season. Deebo also has a 10.5% drop rate. So even when Kyle schemes him open, it is no guarantee he will even catch the ball. Does Deebo have some eye candy highlight reel plays? Yes. But can you rely it on it when you need it most? No. The consistency just hasn't been there.
