BA is due a BIG deal soon. So is Deebo.

Do any of you see a potential trade for one or the other?

Just curious.

I think they are preparing for a very possible scenario where Aiyuk demands too rich a contract for the 49ers to match.

My exact thought...plan ahead (esp. in this offense).

I'm beginning to feel it that BA will be dealt.

Deebo looked like he slowed down a bit - not a lot - but still a little.

Who to trade if any. Probably can't keep both WR at huge deals and Bosa's deal is looming closer.

Will get very interesting.

You think? Of all the trade talk, MM again was talking about BA. You might be onto something.
Imagine not playing Trey and developing him because they say this is a win now team but then turn around and trade your #1 WR that same season? What a joke that would be. It would condradict everything.
Tell me what good Trey Lance does us as our #3 QB make 9 times the starter and double the backup. Then leaves in two years. Trade him. He was part of a terrible trade and the completely wrong pick. It's not his fault. Send him somewhere he can start on a 4-6 win team and grow

Why the hell trade him when you're not even sure Purdy is 100% coming back? And even if he does I can guarantee it'll be much later in the year, so you're willing to trade Trey and go into the year with freaking Darnold and who? Some retread garbage and hoping you pull off finding another Purdy later in the draft?

It'll be beyond sickening if they trade Aiyuk, lose that production and get nowhere near that with the way Kyle treats a rookie or really pray Gray gets it. Massive risk, I'm trading Deebo after this season and keeping Aiyuk

I keep hearing about how Niners can't afford both Deebo and Aiyuk. Yes that might be true in 3 years but Aiyuk is cheap for the next 3 years(even if you extend him because usually the 1st year of their new contract is pretty cheap). And Deebo is expensive for the next 3 years, But you can get out of his contract after that 3rd year for pretty cheap. Deebo and Aiyuk's contract will not be expensive at the sametime. Also I expect Trent Williams to retire within the next 3 years, So that money will be off the books. Armstead's contract will also expire. Add that with the cap rising each season and there is no reason why the Niners can't keep them both. Atleast for the next 3 years.

At least we're a running team. That would be devastating if we were a passing team.

Are you really comparing your second WR on a team stacked with talent to a QB? Lol, fan prvilileges revoked.

wth are you talking about? JTB is 100% correct.
I feel like this is Buckner all over again. BA is available week in and week out. The cap is increasing and trading Lance will create additional cap room.

So in this case Deebo the All Pro receiver is Armstead?

How? We're not playing Trey or developing him because we have a better option. And the better option is just as young and needs to develop as well.

If Trey gets moved it's because Shannahan no longer has faith in him & he has no present or future with this team.

This. If Brock goes down or can't play Trey isn't going to do anything. If they thought Trey could step in and keep our hopes alive and possibly win a SB, they would just start Trey. None of this circus would be happening

There are similarties, but IMO, the biggest difference is that Defo didn't want to leave while a few of us have been saying for the last year that we believe that Aiyuk is unhappy here. If Aiyuk isn't a 49er in the future, I think that coupled with finances will to be the catalyst to his departure.
