Brandon Aiyuk is a 49er! Pick #25, 2020 NFL Draft

The trio of Deebo, Kittle, and Aiyuc is indeed intriguing and should cause some serious pucker problems for DBs. But i wonder what those three, PLUS:

Bourne
Au Jus
Brieda/Wilson/Coleman
Mostert
Hurd (if healhy)
TT (same as above)

Will do? It looks like kyle can pretty much dictate what he wants now, and the 3 above are potent enough. Factor in those below and kyle may finally have an O that is pretty close to unstoppable. Now hopefully an OL joins us(IOL) that can give JG just a squidge more time, and kyle may have what he needs to overpower any D.

We still have rd 5 today, where JL has the magic touch (Kittle, TT, DJ Jones (rd 6), Dre) , plus UDFAs, and trades. Remember we got JG at midseason and same for Sanders. So an IOL is still very doable. We do that and kyle's O ...nobody will want to play against that. And with Kinlaw, now kyle's Comment comes true: " It's much easier to call the O when your D is overpowering". We might just be there...but an IOL sure would help. And Brunskill may very well answer that one .

Filling the hole left by Buck's leaving...had to be fixed. Now that it is, let's go take another ring home.

And for those that don't like our draft...even if we quit right now....what do you want...blood? Could it be we are now better than we were after SB? Even with loss of Buck?

Of course Aiyuk is as good as Jeudy/Ruggs/Lamb.

He just didn't play for a primo program with national hype. Not hard to see how he would be better either.

Just flip on the tape.

TJ worked with him just on release, separation and fighting press cover.

He also said, he thought that Jeudy was the best receiver coming out of the draft based on the film he saw, how he created separation and his release, never worked with him. but after working with Aiyuk, that Aiyuk was just as good, not almost, but just as good. However, as he said he never got to work with Jeudy. He also said he can fly, just watch the film. They didn't work on route running just release, sep, and fighting press coverage. He said coupled with him in Shanahan's offensive scheme, he can't wait to see it.

Biggest concern, is knowing the scheme and getting reps.

Yep, that Aiyuk release is elite.

I think Pettis could still be good in this offense. Will likely throw more next year in 11 personnel

I mean thats the unknown factor that makes these drafts so hard. The intangibles and the mentality and work ethic you have. I'm hoping Pettis steps up if he stays.

You forgot McKinnon. If he's able to bounce back and be in that mix...

Strong words my man!! You were the first that opened many eyes regarding Aiyuk and We just followed your lead . A month before the draft I was also all in on him along with a few around here. I even liked him more than the big 3 relative to where he will get drafted. Funny, I like him as much as the Bama boys but as a better value. Lamb is awesome too but I don't like the fit for us for some reason. Anyway, he's ours now

Should be fun! Looked like WR1 to me in this draft.
"And that's good for another 49ers first down, AIYUK! AIYUK! AIYUK!"

Hurd

There you go, Jennings 6'3". Noted as one of the steals of the draft

YAK.

The Yards After King.

YUCKKKK !!!

It's the way he'll make the DBs look silly after a catch !! YUCKKKK !!!

I didn't even come up with it. It's a nickname he's already earned from ASU. And I quote :

But it was his yards after catch where he made his mark. The former running back led all players in the 2020 NFL draft class with an average of 9.9 yards after the catch, according to Pro Football Focus, earning him the nickname YAK, as in, the Yards After King.

Aaahhyuukkkkkk. Said in draymond green
When he sign his contract, Jed should fly Aiyuk's mom out with him too. Would be awesome for her as a Niner fan
