They need to find a way to keep him on this team
just make it happen

They will, I'm 100% confident, and sure he'll be extended in July/August, I don't see him sitting out, he's seen what it does to his teammates, Bosa, Deebo, he'll report, work on sideline, get deal done before pads go on.

They will by not ponying up for Chase Young. In my opinion, not impressed. Will wait for playoffs to see if that changes.

They're paying Aiyuk for sure. The benefit of a dirt cheap QB

I wouldn't be surprised if Brock gets some kind of bump in pay over the off season.

It's really Brock's favorite target and who he trusts most in a pinch. I just can't imagine how they could let him walk. I think they have to try to keep him even if they let somebody else go.

lol, this is silly
and in reality we would be hammered to oblivion and back, should the NFL find out
let BP keep doing his Alaska Air and Toyota commercials, and having a roommate, he's doing fine financially
he can be this generations Peyton Manning on the endorsements

I'm sure the team is helping him get endorsements. Marketing him for Pro Bowl votes and other accolades indirectly get him endorsements.

Yup, with the endorsements, he should be blowing his contract out of the water, so he's fine
and we'll take care of him, when the time comes,
gotta get BA done also

I'm wondering if we'll start seeing NFL teams do what the Dodgers did with Ohtani and defer as much as possible to future years. Full guarantee but 5 years or more down the road. I'm not sure what NFL rules allow.

I don't know the NFL rules enough to know if that's even possible, but this bigger factor would be whether or not the player would be willing to do that. Tough to imagine.

Why wouldn't they. As long as they were guaranteed the money it might be better for some of them. They could still be getting paid after they end their career if they got injured. There might be some tax advantages as well. The way some of these guys blow through their money and end up broke it could be a good thing.

No need to push it back that far from the very beginning. You can always restructured and push it back farther as needed.
