I think Ayiuk is a #1. Not a top 5 WR but a #1. Overall i thought he played fine.
The problem with Deebo is when you can get a good man to man corner on him he becomes a liability. Honestly we probably would have got more production in this particular game with Jennings as our #2. there are some games Deebo can just absolutely take over and he looks like the best player on the field and their are certain teams that can just completely take him away with a single guy covering him. And i am not talking about just a top flight shut down corner either. look at it like this. If we had Just Deebo and a bunch of average WRs to pair up with him. We would have a s**tty WR core. And that is not a good thing when you are paying a guy 20+ mil a year.

I don't keep up with contracts until a player is actually up for renewal. If he's still under contract (says 2025 UFA) then great! But if his feeling are for real, that can make for an ugly locker room, yeah?

Was hoping success this year for both team and his individual achievements would make him want to stay, but yeah, maybe he still harbors some bad feelings about last year. Hope these are just negotiation tactics. It's an ugly way to do it, but if it helps him with leverage in negotiations…
