Fact is he's an All Pro WR and as a result we need a top five pick overall to let him go or else we'll retain his services another year.

We're in a good spot with him and he can hold out all he wants but we'll be making the best deal for US!!

That said, I would take MHJR in a heartbeat over him.

I think around Niner fans Aiyuk is a stud. Curious how other fan bases/teams see him?

Aiyuk has had more receiving yards every year. Next year will be his 5th season so he's still young. I wouldn't over pay for him because he's not an elite receiver but he's still very good. If they can keep him for a reasonable salary then fine. The problem is the Niners have bigger priorities than WR so they aren't likely to get an elite guy in the draft. That doesn't mean they can't get lucky in the later rounds but I doubt they use a 1st or 2nd rounder on a WR.

We will find out this summer.

They probably think Deebo is better as he is the more hyped and recognizable name. Either way MHJR is going to be electric and one of the best WRs in the NFL within 2-4 years. I also think no team in their right mind is giving up a top 10 pick for Aiyuk, too much talent coming out at WR.

He's going to be extended. It may be a bumpy ride for the next few months. But he is Shanahan's personal shining example of what taking his hard coaching can result in. He will get paid and held up as the example.
Saw this just now rumored to be sent from Aiyuks "best friend". Stupid best friend doesn't want him to be paid and receive career stats from Brock ?

Casual fans would think Deebo is the better wr, but scouts, GM's and coaches know Aiyuk is the better wr as well as fans who know s**t

Remember when Deebo's brother said stuff, then Deebo wanted a trade, but it was Trent who got Deebo back here to talk with Lynch, BA will be a 49er long term, not even worried, 49ers will pay him what he's worth, whatever it might be, at least what Deebo got, probably a bit more, I think Deebo gets him to stay if he does request a trade, since Deebo & BA are tight.

Yeah, but this isn't the Deebo situation. BA has clearly been unhappy for awhile now. Between the frustrated body language on the field and cryptic tweet last offseason (linked to the rumor of him being offended by the team's approach to his contract) to his fiance and brother implying he's done in SF, BA clearly wants out. Do you really blame him? Put yourself in his shoes. No matter what happens here, his numbers will be limited by the offense. The dude knows his next contract after this one is only going to be hamstrung by the offense if he stays in SF. I was hoping that having Brock would've changed things for him, but it doesn't appear that way.

Whoever posted that is right though. Stupid Shanahan failed again. Kept forcing it to DeeVAH. Who is not a WR. With a bad hamstring and shoulder. Limping around. Completely ignored Aiyuk all game long. I mean who does that? I hate Shanahan so much.

I guess I understand if he just wants top Dollar, but good luck with that here.

Also I cant imagine he thinks he would find better success elsewhere? Brock is legit imo and a better o line means more production for everyone. Maybe he wants to be on an offense where the the focal point? I don't think he has that level talent tbh.

So? Deebo's brother did the same s**t, said he was done in SF, he re-signed, BA will too. They're not trading him, they have him for 2024, then can tag him in 2025 & 2026, if he wants to play hardball, then let him, he's probably frustrated like all 49ers players, and fans are, but it is what it is, I'm not gonna let it get at me, if he wants out fine, but they won't trade him just cause he didn't get the ball enough, ppl call Deebo Deevah, yet it's ok for BA to do what a real Diva WR does? C'mon, BS IMO.
This was the first time week that I noticed his body language on-field started getting really bad in 2022. Obviously, he hated playing with Jimmy, but the unhappiness seems to go much deeper than that.

webzone when we keep pointing out how unhappy BA is and has been the last few years:

But remember he is willing to block hard, and this is something Deebo isn't willing to do. It doesn't make sense to say he is so unhappy but was willing to play hard even when he doesn't have the ball. At the end of the day I still think this is a contract negotiation tactic. Perhaps his agent offered him advice to make it sound like he wants out, and then when he signed a big contract with the Niners he will say there was never an issue.

Dude has his girlfriend speak for him ? She's saying "we". BA seems like a nice guy but him and his agent need to take control of the situation.
