Aiyuk is a very good receiver and route runner, which makes him an ideal person to partner with Brock considering Purdy's skillset. The 49ers cap situation is coming up so I'm wondering if they have to choose between Aiyuk and Deebo. To me, I think Aiyuk fits better as a WR and I see Deebo as somewhat of a gadget player. Maybe it's recency bias, but I'm wondering if the team might be better off keep Jennings and Aiyuk, trading Samuel and distributing that cap space elsewhere. Kind of like the Chiefs did with Tyreek.

This!

People always talk about him being slow but his slow ass is always open when he needs to be and he's bigger than Deebo and Aiyuk. That's the dude they should lock in and then find a speedster with some height in the draft or kick the tires on that murderer who just got out of prison if he's still fast lol

All 3 definitely won't be here next year. Someone will offer a 2 for Jennings as an RFA.

Tough decisions need to be made soon.

It doesn't matter what he wants, at least for next year, he's stuck. The season after is different, if he wants big $$$ which is obviously does and deserves it's either him or deebo and I'm taking Aiyuk. But if he does leave I see him going to Texans, they have plenty of cap and familiar coach in Demeco not to mention a star in Stroud.
Let's see him catch some passes from lower tiered QBs. Why do these young WR seem to alway pout and not look in the mirror? Is it a cultural thing?

What's next? Scrubbing all 49ers from his instagram?
Yea u def keep BA over Deebo. Deebo's physical play will/is take a toll on his body and hes not a prototypical WR. Using him out of the backfield is dying fast.

Trade Deebo to Texans, they can afford the $$$ and have plenty of draft picks to give us

What would that right move look like to the receiver?
"Being a champion,"

I dunno so you think they trade him to an AFC contender? He may want a fresh start

Probably wants to be traded to the Chefs.
Aiyuk isn't going anywhere this year. Who would we replace him with? A rookie WR would be the only option.

I said this yesterday. Deebo plus a bunch of mediocre WRs is a bad WR core. Even if Aiyuk demands a trade I don't see any scenario that we do it this season. Not until we had some other option to fill his role on the roster. IMO Aiyuk Is so much more important to this team then both Deebo and Kittle.

I expect us to attempt to sign him long term. If we fail, he will obviously demand a trade. We will decline his request. he will hold out during training camp. But ultimately he will show up for the season unless he is an idiot. Either way I strongly believe he is on this team next season.

After the KC game I just don't see him as an elite WR that's in the same class as Jefferson, Chase, and a few others. Their CBs punked Deebo and BA. He's still very good but we shouldn't pay him top WR money.

I guess you could say that he's definitely not top five or six, but he did punk KC's awesome corner for the touchdown in overtime. It's not his fault that Chris Jones had a free rush to Purdy. Give him close to 22-25 a year. Well worth it for Purdy and the offense.
WRs always got to be divas.

It seems psychology requrement to be good at the position.

Brandon could have been the hero of the whole game

Get rid of Armsteads huge salary to keep BA. You can keep young, gregory and ferrel for less than Armstead

Dare I say Jennings could take his spot but he's a free agent as well IIRC.

Need to draft a Deebo clone and keep a good hands guy.

Aiyuk is a good #2 WR but not a #1 type.

He's definitely more of a #1 than Deebo. Deebo is a RB than runs routes. Aiyuk may not be a JJ or AJ Brown tier WR1 but he's still a damn good WR1 in this league and for this team. I'll take that all day over Deevah.
