Play and risk an injury which could affect future earnings. I would hold out too. f**k loyalty get your bag BA
Well I guess JL and the FO could play hardball too.....You want to play NFL football? Then you play for the Niners. If not, sit and watch. Would that work?

Yeah cause the NFLPA has removed all power from the players unfortunately. That's why players resort to tactics like Deebo removing 49ers from instagram and keeling stuff through his agent to reporters and such. Cause that's the only tools they have.

Works for me
This feels like an emotional reaction by Yuk. Let him get some distance from the loss.
They should have a meeting and communicate w/each other.

Then, make decisions.

If he wants to hold out then trade him for as much as we can get!

Not like the VERY STUPID move of trading Charles Haley to Dallas.
I get his frustrations. He is the #1 WR but he was the 3rd option in this game. I get that snead is an all-pro but it's the SB and you need to make your best WR a big priority. Deebo was targeted 11 times and only had 3 catches. Aiyuk was only targeted 6 times and had the same amount of catches and more yards. Deebo also had 3 rushes. So they called Deebo's number 14 times and Aiyuk only 6. 3rd and 4 with 1:57 left, That's the game right there. In that spot you look to either your best receiver or your best player. Aiyuk or CMC but it was Jennings that was the 1st read.

Am I wrong that he's under contract for one more year and if need be, he can be franchised? What's all the hubbub?

You don't want to have to franchise him. You want to get his deal down now so they can mainpulate his numbers better for the future. It's why you gets deal done sooner rather than later.

One offseason too late with Aiyuk. Bosa situation hurt our chances to retain Aiyuk at a better cost.

Aiyuk would've never signed last year. He wants to be featured. This year was the first where he was to a degree.

I feel like he knows the struggle it will be to get a deal here based on precedent, but if that's the case then maybe both sides should surprise and get a deal done asap this time? Might be the best medicine for everyone and the team?

One thing I don't like is that we never seem to get ahead of deals. They never extend guys early and always wait until the deal is up.
False. They sign guys, priority guys, with a year left. The deal has never been "up." Not even with Buckner.

I wonder why that friend said Vegas. Maybe a black head coach like AP raider would fit better for BA. Also less traffic?

Just running their mouth. No way that was said with any kind of real strategy or thoughts about BA's future. Both him and the gf. I think BA wants to be paid, be used as a top option, and win. Like literally all 3. I don't think catching 120 balls a year for some 7 win team will do it for him.

send YUCK to the Raiders for two 2nd rounder and it's a deal..

we keep Jennings, then draft Flash 80 Jr... Trade Deevah to Houston for 2025 1st rounder and Mechi..

I said this with Deebo and meant it..and I mean it now. He's locked for at least 2 years. 1 year contract and then a potential TAG. people act like this doesn't happen anymore.

I think Aiyuk means more to this team now than Deebo does. Again, I really like Deebo.

Agree!! And I like him too.

IMO, the injuries are starting to add up w/Deebo and he has a huge cap hit.

Bill Walsh would trade players before they peaked out and I think we should trade him and keep BA.
