So the media is hyping Brandon Aiyuk being unhappy and wanting out. To be fair to Brandon... nobody has actually heard BRANDON saying he wants out... just his family. That said, I think leaving would be a huge mistake for Aiyuk.

The narative this season was that Brock Purdy's success was a product of Shanahans system and that's the only reason he was successful.

I however, would argue that the 49ers RECEIVERS are the biggest beneficiaries of Kyle's offense, NOT the QB. Lest you forget, Shanahan himself was a wideout at Texas. He has always coached receivers being a receiver himself. His condensed bunch formations are designed to benefit the receivers to get them open and able to make plays. The whole ethos of the Niners offensive gameplan is pretty much opposite of the rest of the league in that the Niners use the PASS game to open up the run.

Take Aiyuk out of Shanahans system and I simply do not see him having anywhere near the level of success that he gets here. He would still be good, but under SHanahan, he has the opportunity to excel more so than he would anywhere else. Not meant as a measure of disrespect, but there are many receivers in the NFL that are bigger, faster and stronger than Brandon. Shanahans offense negates the inherent weaknesses that Brandon has no control over.

Brandon Ayuk is not stupid. He ain't going anywhere.

He gone.

He should talk to his woman about NFL contracts. Aiyuk has no leverage. She can post a til tok video every day of the offseason. Let Aiyuk start getting fined and lose the ability to be a FA in 2025 due to not playing. Players have to result to these tactics, deleting team references from social media because they have no leverage.

Getting a little emotional here over nothing,...lol. He's tradeable,...and NC is once again completely misquoting a source.

The girl told no lies.

She's talking about going to Vegas, but I'm the emotional one? 😄 That's where everyone goes to win championships- the Raiders.

What did she say that was false or controversial? Yes, you are being emotional over completely nothing, lol.

Where is this keep one or the other stuff coming from?? They can easily keep both. It's not hard.

For next season, but not after that.

2025 is gonna be a bloodbath.

Huf, AA, Purdy, BA(if we can't come to an agreement this year) Lenoir, Banks, Mooney, and Greenlaw.

Huf is a safety. Those are never crazy numbers. AA won't command top dollar with age and injury history - he may walk. Purdy's material cap hits wouldn't even take place until 2027 - just look at Hurts' extension. Mooney needs to he extended, Greenlaws injury may be a blessing in disguise for the long term.

Trent's contract will fall off in the next two years. Likely will cut Hargrave in 2025.

I really don't think this is that big of a deal in the short and long term.

Shanahan + Purdy is a playoff ticket every year. Now it's about keeping players who will be here 4+ years.

My list would be:

Purdy
Aiyuk
CMC
Huf
Mooney
Bosa
Warner
Lenoir
Greenlaw

Thats the core in 2025 and moving forward. But none of the other guys need to be sacrificed in 2024.

Sounds right to me. Totally agree on AA. Love him as a player and he should be a much easier extension given all of the factors..

Yeah exactly.

I mean we had talks this guy was in the Kyle doghouse, not living up to his potential.

I think the only skill guy on the team who is infallible from a production standpoint is CMC. Everyone else has a reason why their production is Kyle dependent to a degree...

I didn't come to my conclusion because of the salary cap though. Deebo's stuff came later, and i think was a bit quieter. This came really quick, and was not tame or money related.

I really think this is a looking glass into him not liking it on the niners. He very well may not want to be here.

Are you aware of how the CBA works and the fact that Aiyuk is under contract? Do you think hes going to force a trade? I don't take the statement serious at all. Is he frustrated? Sure. But there aren't many situations he can go to where he is going to be a featured part of the offense, get paid, and be a part of a winning team. If he only wants the first two, sure. But if all 3 matter and I think they do based on how he works, his desire to do more, he isn't leaving here. They also need to not be prisoners of the moment (being emotional) and see that he is the future here. Deebo and Kittle can't stay healthy and have had a 5 year run being top options in this offense.

Aiyuk is pretty reliable, is more consistent, and more likely go play well past 30 with his play style. Now tell me how her video and the other Instagram posts are sensible, logical, and or factual? Since you think the girl told no lies, what realistic path is there for Aiyuk to be on another team next season, given the contractual realities?

I think he doesn't like his role. His posts over the years are about his numbers in spite if his targets. But given that Kyle ran offenses with Andre Johnson and Julio Jones, he absolutely can call plays so that Aiyuk is the top target. I think knowing that will go along way towards Aiyuk changing his ideas on his role, future, and value of his contributions here.
I doubt he's going anywhere but if he gone I'm not worried.

I clicked and listened to what she said again and it's not anywhere near that serious. Maybe there are some other videos she's made out there that I haven't heard or something?

If it's not much more than that link where NC exaggerated as usual,...you're letting your fanhood get in the way of real people being....real people.

Let the chick say whatever she wants to say....she has zero pull and he hasn't even put a ring on it yet.

Kinda tired of his attitude, my fav receiver since TO but he says cryptic s**t and his family plain says he may not be in SF. I want our dudes to want to be here and if he's on the fence ship him out.
Business is business. Bosa held out for his 5th year,....so I guess he didn't want to be here either, right? I'm all in favor of athletes maximizing what they can get because the contracts are not guaranteed,....just ask Jimmy.

If some people can't take or stomach family's comments they should do what I do and ignore them.

The personal lives of these guys and who they know or don't know doesn't concern me much, nor do I consider it news at all.

You should try it!!

He said things this off season about how his numbers aren't that of a pass centric offense. Now this. I could see this going a few different ways including asking for a trade. I get the sense he wants to be paid now, wants to be a #1, wants to go to a pass centric offense and wants to go to a winning team. It's good to want. LOL

I can see how he would want to go to a team that will use his strengths. Right now he is dealing with ego, and a more lateral passing game.

he could be a legitimate deep threat in a more vertical passing system. But who knows.
Needs to be resigned before Justin Jefferson sets the market value. BA is a keeper and deserved more targets in the super bowl than Deebo as he got locked up.
I haven't watched any of what his family is saying, nor do I need to, because it's obvious what he is doing. He's following a similar path that Deebo laid out to get paid. Lest we forget that Deebo was damn near hated on here when he scrubbed his social media accounts. Once he got paid it was no harm no foul. Once Aiyuk gets the bag it'll be the same deal. Why the hell would he want to go to Vegas that has no QB atm?? Especially after he played with an MVP caliber QB this year. Makes no sense.
