Lest we forget that Deebo was damn near hated on here when he scrubbed his social media accounts. Once he got paid it was no harm no foul. Once Aiyuk gets the bag it'll be the same deal. Why the hell would he want to go to Vegas that has no QB atm?? Especially after he played with an MVP caliber QB this year. Makes no sense.

See Davonte Adams

BA wants to be treated, paid, and targeted like a 1. What's so hard to understand? He is the best receiver on our team. Debo isn't a wide back anymore. When we run with him it never works. BA is by far our highest priority on offense to keep. I would trade Debo In A heartbeat if we had to choose because no one's paying 50 million a year for two wr. Debo is underperforming his contract. He's not a wide back anymore, and often injured. BA is a true 1.not to mention ba had more yards per catch. So that counteracts debos yac

He said things this off season about how his numbers aren't that of a pass centric offense. Now this. I could see this going a few different ways including asking for a trade. I get the sense he wants to be paid now, wants to be a #1, wants to go to a pass centric offense and wants to go to a winning team. It's good to want. LOL

Bro, if he was targeted like our 1 he's have 1600 yards. Debo had 20 more catches and 200 less yards

If some people can't take or stomach family's comments they should do what I do and ignore them.

The personal lives of these guys and who they know or don't know doesn't concern me much, nor do I consider it news at all.

You should try it!!

The Bosa camp was quiet, in fact i only remember positive things coming out.

Deebo started in late March i believe. And did not have close people saying he WANTS to leave. It was he wants to be paid like a WR.

And he will never be targeted like Diggs or Adams here, so if that is what his #1 desire is

I think number 1 target would trump getting as many targets if he's paid top dollar and we are competing for Super Bowls. I have no issue with him wanting that. Even removing the individual aspect of it, he's proven he is a dangerous game breaker and honestly, more involvement by Aiyuk can lead to more of a normal offense. In my perfect world with O-line upgrades, the targets would be 1. Aiyuk 2. CMC (only because more of the load would be shared with Mitchell and Mason 3. Kittle (still good for 1k 4. Deebo (we might get closer to 2021 production or at least in-between 2021 and 2023 production if we took the spotlight off of him) 5. Juice.

Also, Andre Johnson and Julio Jones got 10+ targets a game with Kyle calling the plays, so it can be done.
He deserves to get paid but if he wants top 3 WR $ he's crazy. He should get paid around what Deebo got, not much more. If that isn't good enough he has to play out his final year or sit out. There's no way he isn't on this team in 2024. I highly doubt he's traded to anyone.

Agree.
What about Aiyuk to the Panthers for Brian Burns and Terrace Marshall? Ofcourse an extension would have to come with the deal. For both sides.

See Davonte Adams
Green Bay couldn't pay Davante what he wanted iirc. And Vegas also had his boy Derek Carr at that time. Niners on the other hand CAN pay Aiyuk what he wants & do you really want to catch passes from O'Connell or an unknown rook? If so, then that's just plain silly. I could understand wanting more targets & rightly so. He was what, like the most efficient WR this year with the lowest amount of targets. Pretty impressive.

Both camps have been whisper quiet to me because I dont hang onto their every word.

And if they are not quiet, does it harm our team in any way?

It's great to know what a players' intentions are as early as possible and I'm all for a player testing out his market value. Especially one like Aiyuk that has earned the right to.

I see zero problems here.

Why? The whole reason for not keeping Aiyuk is because you gotta pay him…burns is gonna make just as much or more. He's also a FA, so you don't have as much wiggle room as giving a guy an extension
I just don't see how this keep this dude long term. Trading Deebo won't be easy.
Not sure why people think it's so hard to pay him? His cap hit will be lower this yr in an extension. Got look at Deebo's contract, avg the first two yrs is $7M. Do the same s**t for BA. By the time his cap hit gets crazy, other guys are not here anymore.

He's in his prime when that cap hit gets big. At that point the offense will have some fresh blood in there.

How do you not see it? Extension is lowing his cap hit this yr. Go look at Deebo's deal. His first two seasons into his contract was @ an avg of $7M per. By the time the cap hit gets wild, there's other contracts off the books.

they aren't trading Deebo. First off it makes zero sense financially. It doesn't help the team this yr. What Deebo is great at aren't things that are easily replaceable.
