first off, they're already gonna be cap compliant. Second, an extension saves them over $10.3M. Third, WTF with the draft his replacement s**t?

getting rid of homegrown talent, that's finally hit their stride and isn't even in his prime is dumb as s**t. Learn from your mistakes (buck). They can absolutely setup that contract to slide in and replace Deebo when his cap hit gets big.

I believe Graziano is a certifiable idiot.

It is hard to read much media stuff anymore knowing how bad many are at their jobs.

This is (sadly) the answer.

3 year extension. $80m total. $45m fully gtd. Lets him hit FA again before his age 30 season. He can double dip.

Thats better than Deebo but not quite Tyreek Hill money.

Put yourself in his shoes. Why would you sign that knowing your next contract is going to be hamstrung by the offense? If he wants to double dip, he needs to dip out because the offense is going to always limit the amount of money he can make, or at least the amount of money he believes he's capable of earning in a pass-first offense where he's the #1 target.

This contract matters more. This is the one that secures his lifestyle for life. Also, he's not a UFA. He can pout but he alone doesn't control his fate. Sure, maybe somebody offers a top 10 pick for him and he can get his Justin Jefferson money. I'd be surprised if that happened. This FO has taken care of every A-caliber talent they've drafted.

The Niners won't make a move that lessens their chance at a SB in 2024. No team goes out of their way to shut their own window.

To correct myself, I meant cut or trade Deebo after the 2024-2025 season since we should have an out then.

I agree, but its similar to the Kyle talks.... Aiyuk can leave, but is he guaranteed success elsewhere individually or as a teammate than he is now? Imo that's a big gamble. Also, a huge draw for me if I am Aiyuk is Purdy.
I commented in the past how open he was on soooo many plays and Jimmy never ever chucked it his way. Purdy does most of the time and must know that which is why he was so much happier this year. If his issue is having an offense with multiple stars...its a good problem to have. Aiyuk isn't beating double teams lol Aiyuk need to tell Kyle to draft 7 lineman lol

Trade Deebo now while we can still get something good for him, if he gets hurt or production goes down we might end up with only a 3rd or lower. I think we can still get a 2nd for him now maybe even a 1st if there's a team out there desperate enough.

It's a huge dead money hit, you can't trade him now. Next year is our out.

Same with him, over 20 mil cap hit. 2025 is our out with him.
I think he is gone for sure. Doesnt make sense to keep him. His talents dont match our offense. Guys like Deebo and Kittle fit our scheme because they had to the run game and misdirection. Shanahan can get most WRs. We would be throwing money out the window and missing an opportunity for more drat picks. Trade him and use those picks on the O-line and Defense. Lets build a jugernaunt D and monster O-line. Thats how we become SB champions

I feel the opposite. We have a young QB, and we are trying to maximize his success and our window, on his rook deal. BA is the clear #1 favored WR of Brock. BA when he is not facing KC, gets separation. He's the best route runner and target we have in the pass game.

If you get a chance to see the all-22, he actually separated plenty against KC, which probably only pissed him off more about his production being limited by the offense.
