I never said he won't be good. I think he's got a good chance to be, especially in this scheme. I never said his potential is limited either. He's simply not better at this point than a couple WRs that went before him (two of which they could have taken).

Yes,...Aiyuk then Lamb as the top WRs. Agreed.

And as you know with the draft,...you dont necessarily opt for whom was better at this point. You're forecasting into a good year or so down the road with WRs and if sooner results come, then even better.

Agreed.

However I don't think any of the top WRs were limited either. They all have substantial ceilings, It's great to project (That's part of the process) you also want to see some sort of level of play vs certain competition to backup that projection.

I got no problem with Aiyuk, drive/athletic ability are all there. Same with the others drafted ahead of him as well
I hope this works out for us. Seeing lamb in that 88 makes me a little nervous. And to the cowboys . At least he's not on a good team though

Boy i don't know that cowboy team is really talented, get the right coach in there and they could be a problem.

Shanahan would have a field day with that roster

No WR in this draft had equal current skill set and future potential. The absolute best in the class as an all around WR.
I just realized it's actually a good thing when there are certain people who are tempering expectations of the many others. That way we don't forget giving them the benefit of the doubt and letting them prove their doubters wrong.

It was a good pick but their secondary is going to be absolutely atrocious coming up.

I can't wait either - I think he can run a 4.3, if he's healthy.

The GPS in his shoulderpads at ASU reportedly clocked him at 21.93 mph on one touchdown play. That would've been the third fastest speed in the NFL last year, so...

Like the Diggs pick, but yeah they could use a little help there

Cowboys were always Paper Super Bowl Champs every season.

not worried about them. very talented roster, but McCarthy is a horrible HC. Idk how that guy still has a HC job in this league.

Yup agreed, I mean every player has some sort of weakness. Lamb also had a ton of free releases BUT he's so damn physical and when pressed it wasn't that huge of an issue.

Jeudy just has amazing releases of the LOS. He's not gonna have a problem getting open at the next level.

I like Ayiuk don't think he was WR1 in this draft class and I don't think he was worth moving up to get either. Is what it is, he's still talented and can be great in this system.

When the brain trust says they would take aiyuk 13, it sounds deranged frankly.

What's the purpose of saying stuff like that. IT reinforces the argument other fans have that our FO is disconnected and naive.
I'm sold on this kid having high ability. We will just have to wait and see if the braintrusts were right.
