I agree. Give Aiyuk and Jimmy one whole year of working and having in-game regular season reps *together* and with Aiyuks speed -- that would have been a TD vs an overthrow in my opinion.

Its a silly thing to say because the ball wouldn't have been thrown the same with a different WR.

Yeah, I think Aiyuk runs through that pass. Sanders stopped on the route for a quick second, then started up again. But, it was too late - the ball was over his head already.

I don't see where he stops

Yeah, I swear he let up - that clip doesn't show that. My bad.

That was on Jimmy . Looked like a pretty clean pocket too. I never knew since I can't bear to watch it again. Haven't watched 2012 either.

Reading this article, it seems like we overpaid in draft capital for our WR. Lamb was a ready to go WR and we instead took a development player instead. developmental players shouldn't be taken in the first round imo.

Thing is they got Kinlaw AND Aiyuk.

I wanted Lamb no doubt, getting both guys isn't a bad outcome at all.

I don't see Aiyuk as developmental player at all. I think Aiyuk can be as a good as Lamb, and yes getting both him and Kinlaw was great. Filled 2 needs. I don't care about draft capital given up, looked like GB was gonna trade up for him, so we traded ahead of where they did.

It wasn't Aiyuk over Lamb. And where in that article did it show we overpaid for a "developmental" player?

A little early to say one guy is a developmental player not worth drafting in the first vs another rookie who somehow is a sure thing?

Just ruined my morning man. Yeah - Jimmy G missed that throw. But he got us to the Superbowl!
Why must we Keep torturing ourselves with clips from the super bowl

Screw that, make Pettis do returns, he might actually benefit from it. This kid needs to be one of the starting receivers. I hope he is smart enough to pick up the nuances quickly. The kid doesn't need to increase his chance of injury by playing on special teams.

I think Pettis should be our punt returner, after all why not have the leading punt returner in the history of college football return punts right?

Damn, should have been an easy TD. Jimmy likely cost us #6.

A lot of things cost a SB victory, not just one play
