Brandon Aiyuk is a 49er! Pick #25, 2020 NFL Draft

This negotiation has more so called confirmed rumors than I've ever seen. It changes by the hour. So it looks like he'll either end up signing with the Niners, playing out his option, going to the Browns, going to the Steelers, going to the Raiders, going to NE or possibly some other team we haven't heard of. Maybe he goes back to ASU.
Just connecting the dots based on all the rumors circulating: it appears like it's going to end up being a 3 team trade where Pitt gets BA, Niners get picks and send those picks to the Raiders for Davante Adams.

That would be a bummer. He isn't bad but not the caliber I'm hoping for.

Only the 49ers would try to get rid of their best WR in a Super Bowl window. This is just STUPID.

How are they trying? They have offered him a fair deal, and he happens to want more. They've done what they could to keep him and it's not working out. Letting him look for a new team is the 9ers way of telling him he's not worth what he is asking for. If he truly was a 30 mil per year WR, teams wouldn't mind giving up a 1st rounder in trade and then giving him extension. What team has done that? None! If Chase was in same situation, teams would be lining up offering a 1st/player and signing him. Unfortunately for BA, he's just not worth it.

3 team trades are almost impossible, and a trade involving the Raiders and the Niners used to feel impossible, but this would be a solid outcome if true (I would hope we ended up with a pick in addition to Adams)

Other than the blockbuster 1987 Eric Dickerson trade has there ever even been a three-team trade in NFL history?

Then trade Adams to NE for Bourne and a 6th

Let's say the Steelers' offer is, hypothetically, right around $28 million per year (a number I heard earlier in the week). Is that enough to get Aiyuk to go there? Or could that provide the framework for a deal with the Niners? To me, that's the benefit of taking this route if you're San Francisco. One way or the other, you're driving toward a conclusion, and giving yourself another shot at keeping him. Which is what Plan A always was for the Niners.

Made it to a SB in 209 with a rookie WR and an old WR we traded for in the middle of the season.

we have a better team now than then and some how we suck if BA is gone.. when we already showed we can get there without him ?

shoot, JJ was the star of the last SB for us

I mean with that train of thought we shouldn't pay Brock and just grab Jimmy G when he gets cut in LA lol.

Shoot why are we paying CMC? I mean we got to the SB with Mostert and Wilson back there.

go watch the SB, BA was open a lot and for whatever reason Brock wasn't looking his way, probably couldn't because we couldn't pass-protect. But you know that's not important either we got to the SB with person/garland before.
So your counter to this is we should go back to lesser talent yeah you definitely off the meds today

That's not new, that's been his stance before. Literally shot down the idea that we could have drafted better o-linemen before, because "they would cost more" to re-sign. But that "logic", yes...we should always strive to draft as mediocre of talent as possible.
im giving it an 80% chance that after all is said and done, BA will be a Niner imo

Thats the trade I'd like to see, IF WE ARE TRADING HIM. Option A should be to retain Aiyuk but if we can't - I'd love to get Adams.
