Not really, a lot talk around Hill last season on pace for 2000 yards, team had a decent season and Hill got a lot of media coverage. Just because he wasn't in the superbowl? Lol

How many Super Bowls did Barry Sanders play in?

I'm sorry, Barry Who?

Hill's response:
Not to mention he's in Miami now and not KC.

That's the difference. Is it the money or the glory? Granted, if you could have a bit of both. Not too shabby.

It helps that Hill has a Super Bowl ring. Also he's way better than Aiyuk right now

That's a good point. And it works for Hill.
He catches touchdowns and wins games. Re sign him.

I'm sure Whole Foods in Pittsburgh is hiring…

Aiyuk is open to that actually, but he's insisting on a Regional Manager position, and wants to choose a downtown or riverside base only.
the needle is starting to point back toward the Niners

  • Adam Schefter: Part of Brandon Aiyuk wants to stay with 49ers
  • Kyle Shanahan: Losing Brandon Aiyuk would be 'huge,'
  • Albert Breer: Talks with Steelers could aid 49ers in signing Brandon Aiyuk
  • Herm Edwards: 49ers and Brandon Aiyuk still want to get a deal done

The backpedaling begins.

Yup. The "news" trend has definitely shifted today.

There's no incentive to trade the guy at a loss. Worst case scenario, he plays out his deal here and tests free agency. Nobody is going to want to give up what he is worth to the Niners and then have to give him a long term extension at the numbers he supposedly wants. I am pretty sure this is all just an ego check letting his agent try to work out a trade that nobody is going to want. I fully expect BA to be suiting up for the niners week one, if not sooner.

* Two 1st round picks. Or else....

* Play on 5th year option.

* Franchise Tag 6th year.

Take a hike for less offer than that.

I believe the niners need to try one more time. 29 mil with bonus to 30,31. He makes the all pro team, gets 1500 yds this session and other Matrix numbers to make it work. If this does not work then yes it was fun but don't let the door hit you where the good lord split ya.

when people say you shouldn't pay WRs and the passing game isn't that big of a deal…I then ask why should you pay the QB? Why do all those same folks b***h about the QB having no one to throw the ball to?

BA wouldn't be the highest paid WR at his position. Ya'll got your head in the sand not realizing that Deebo/kittle are basically on the last yr of their deals and always hurt/getting old. Legit next yr could be Ricky/jennings as their two main WRs and that's ridiculous, given what they have currently.

Brock and BA SHOULD be the future of this team.
Agree and I think that's why BA hasn't been traded yet. I still think kyle has a shot at keeping BA. But it's going to be a tight cap squeeze if they do keep BA.

yeah but i dont see BA risking injury by playing on the 5th yr option. i think he takes an offer.
I'm expecting a down year for BA, whether he gets a new contract or not. He should be continuing to build rapport with Brock. hopefully, Deebo can make up any of BA's slack at wideout while he gets up to speed during the season.
