I'm on this boat…wake me up when he re-signs with the 49ers. Steelers are too smart to give up what the 49ers want and 3 team trades in the NFL are extremely rare.

Its inevitable that he re-signs, this trade talk stuff heated up then flamed out. Re-signing is what usually comes next. I'm not worried at all.

Go look at the best WR of all time, he has 3 rings.

True but that was pre cap and the Niners had already shown they didn't need Rice to win SBs.

Yup. Montana won 2 SB's without Rice and Taylor. Beating Anderson who was a pro bowl qb in '81 and Marino who was arguably seen as the best all time with his ridiculous record shattering season in '84

I don't see Devante as an option. .... I believe Adams already said that Rodgers would be only way he'd leave LV

So Adams doesn't want a chance to go to the superbowl?
I doubt that is correct, he'd jump at the opportunity to play for the 49ers (over the Jets or Raiders)

It's not up to the fans
49ers gave up 4 picks for CMC then paid him (picks #2, 3, 4, 5).
It's not unreasonable to think that the Steelers should pay a similar price for BA
According to Mike Garafolo, he thinks the relationship between the 49ers and BA became irreconcilable after the meeting he setup between himself and the team. That sounds about right. BA probably went there and acted like he did when Jimmy was his QB.

"trade me NAO!!!"

Just connecting the dots based on all the rumors circulating: it appears like it's going to end up being a 3 team trade where Pitt gets BA, Niners get picks and send those picks to the Raiders for Davante Adams.

3 team trades are almost impossible, and a trade involving the Raiders and the Niners used to feel impossible, but this would be a solid outcome if true (I would hope we ended up with a pick in addition to Adams)

I also don't think he wants to leave, that's why he's holding in, not holding out.

The holding in is likely a financial decision, but I don't think he wants to leave. Winning is funner than losing, simple as that.

Agree that winning is a factor, but I think - that he thinks - the 49ers still might match his demands. As NY85 says, 49ers have all the leverage.

I just wish we still had DeFo and all of this mess would go away

SF is about to do the same thing. Get rid of the young player in favor of keeping the older one. drafted his replacement who wasn't even a faction of what the guy they moved was….

SF Won't even get proper compensation for him this time around and get zero assets to help the team in an all in Sb or bust yr.

They f**ked it up so badly.

Yeah, NY I think you're right. Bummer

This whole situation reminds me of the Defo situation.

Defo was gone by this time, Aiyuk is still here. But yes, the cap situation is the reason both Aiyuk and Buckner were in this type of salary contract situation.

Wish they kept in the remote part of this gif. That's🤌 anger when you try and shove a black remote up your rectum

Not to mention he has to sell his house, find a new school for his son, learn a new playbook, adjust to a new team and a new QB, leave the West Coast where he grew up… much easier to stay in SF.

Yeah that's why I have *some* optimism that it might work out for the 49ers and Aiyuk.Purdy being paid peanuts and ShanaLynch wanting a 🏆 are the other two major factors that give me some hope.

I was going to post the extended version, but I didn't want to get banned or whatever.
