I just wish he was taller

Good height, good weight, impressive vert, appears fast, routes look good. Any word on his hands?

3. Hands

If you can get open, but can't catch — "It's like why would we put you at first base if you can't catch?" Fisher said.

Aiyuk has tools to help with this. At the NFL Combine, his wingspan measured 81 inches, common for someone standing 6-6 or taller. Aiyuk's hands measured 9¾ inches.

"He's got really good, natural hands," Fisher said. "No. 1, they're big. He has a good ability to pluck the ball and he gets it down quick. I don't know that I've really seen him body the ball unless the catch called for it."

He's 5-11 to go with Trent Taylor at 5-8 and Deebo at 5-10.

The good news is he's got a huge catching radius. That's incredibly important when playing outside and your QB is constantly under duress.

the football guys calculator is better (link on top of draft forum) says we gave up a little too much

You realize that every team has a slightly different chart?

Yes, of course, and that is how you can get good trades because some teams use charts that undervalue late picks.
The older charts overvalue early picks (rd 1-3) and undervalue later picks (rd 5-7).

Eg. the chart below makes rd 3 picks (third round) 20 times more valuable than rd 7 picks, 10 times more valuable that 6th rd picks and 6 times more valuable than 5th rd picks. And 4th rd picks are 8 times more valuable than 7th rd and 4 times more than 6th rd picks. Late picks are more valuable than they are given credit for
We gave up two nice players at #117 and #176, so they really like Aiyuk ... but they also really liked Dante Pettis and way over-paid to trade up for Pettis. and Joe Williams. And CJ Beathard. and Rueban Forster and Solomon, etc

He was measured at 6'0" at the Combine. That's legit enough for me.

You gotta love seeing that!

I hope he helps take this offense to an elite level.
