No way the dude runs 4.5, that core injury was a blessing for us. He's a legit low 4.4 and it easily shows on the field

Mike Wilson and JJ Stokes?
I really hated jj stokes

I personally liked Pittman and Mims better but I'm not an elite offensive coordinator or head coach and never played football.

Quality over quantity was needed for this draft.

AGree, and I'll just add that if you take any WR and add a bit of Kyle Shanahan, that receiver will be a top flight receiver (Bourne comes to mind). Conversely you can take Lamb and if he goes to a poor offensive system and coach, I'm betting he'd be no better than a 3rd or 4th round pick from a production standpoint. If you look at DeeBo last year, you'd think he was a high first round pick, with his incredible rookie production.

Six games into his rookie season, Parks set a franchise record for longest reception with an 83-yard catch, followed by the team's second longest reception, an 80-yarder, a week later. Both records stood for 13 years.[8] In 1965, Parks led the National Football League in receptions with 80, receiving yards with 1,344, and receiving touchdowns with 12. For his performance, Parks was selected to the 1965 Pro Bowl and was named to the 1965 All-Pro Team.

Samuel finished the year with 55 catches, 802 yards and three touchdowns through the air. He also posted 14 carries for 159 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
His 55 receptions were the most by a San Francisco rookie since Earl Cooper had 83 in 1980. Samuel's 802 receiving yards were the second-most by a 49ers rookie behind Jerry Rice in 1985. His 961 yards from scrimmage are the most ever by a 49ers rookie, and his six total touchdowns were the most by a 49ers' rookie WR since Dave Parks in 1964.

Wilson and Stokes were both bigger than Aiyuk . Wilson was 6-3 and about 215 and Stokes was 6-4 and about 220. I hope he's more productive than Stokes who averaged about 500 yards and 4 TDs per year with the Niners. Wilson was always overshadowed by Rice and Taylor which kept his numbers down but he had good hands and always seemed to be able to get open.

No man its all a joke. Hoo vtrain to say Aiyuk is at Jerry rice and john Taylor's level, and I'm saying take that sh@t outta here. That's what's going on.

My bad. Actually Aiyuk could be a similar receiver to Taylor. Size and speed are similar and Taylor was also a good punt returner. He has to go out and prove it now. He certainly isn't Taylor yet and he may never be without a Jerry Rice on the other side.
Maybe. Taylor usually makes it onto the top 100 draft steals in nfl history. We'll see.
Hopefully if Deebo will miss a few games, Aiyuk will hold the fort. He needs to really step up his maturation and learning during this offseason though.

Lol first off I never said he was at either of their levels. I said his game speed reminded me of the others.

Im not hating on Aiyuk i think he'll be good but i still cant believe we didnt get Lamb or Jeudy. Those guys are gonna get close to 1000 yards as rookies. We're once again short on receiver might as well sign Josh Gordon at this point. Deebo is a beast but is hurt, Bourne is getting better but is still like a 3rd option, Hurd looks like a beast but lets hope his back holds up, Taylor is good but fragile and always injures something, Pettis is weak im still mad we had to trade a 2nd and a 3rd to get him when we should have got Dj chark or traded up for sutton who was actually worth a trade up (who are both 1000 yard receivers now). Then we got Aiyuk who looks good but i dont think hes better than Lamb or Jeudy. Im not hating but it looks like we're gonna have to draft another receiver again next year. Im praying Aiyuk can tear it up starting week 1.
