Reminds me of a young Anquan Boldin

What?

Both are great at getting YAC, slants and breaking tackles like a man possessed.

This guy is basically and Anquan Bolden with more speed imo. I think we got a pretty good number one on our hands. Deebo Samuel will be very good as well. We finally have two receivers I think we will be able to depend on to be consistently good. Jimmy Garoppolo may finally have some wide receivers that can produce consistently

DJ moore 2.0

I like that comparison as well, but I think he's a lot better at breaking tackles then Moore and If you remember that was and Bolden's best trait

Moore is a stud at breaking tackles. Not sure why he doesn't get more love.

Q was basically a slot CB most of his career. He didn't have to beat dudes off the LOS all game, he always found the soft spots in zone. A big part of Aiyuk's game will be playing outside and beating press at the next level IMO.

Q was also almost 20Lbs bigger. He was like a RB and wanted contact.

I wouldn't say Aiyuk "looks" for contact...he breaks tackles more with speed/explosion, good angles, he's got fluid hips. Q just ran dudes over.

Watched all his TD film on utube right after we drafted him and noticed this kid has really got some jets...with afterburners. He has that last gear that is just awesome.

Moves? Holy cow, he's got 'em.

RAC? Yikes!

I don't want to compare him to anyone but just say he is one stud muffin. On PR, you see both moves, fakes, and jet afterburner speed. One thing you never see is the guy getting caught from behind. Sure he did in some film but once he gets that ball, lookout.

Damn i loved this pick. Have to admit i was more in the top 3 WR camp, but not now...I love Aiyuk. He was THE right choice.
Yeah I believe this guy is going to be our number one receiver going forward. Samuel is great but this guy is going to be a true threat on every level. Either way we're finally going to have some good receivers that have the potential to be great

I can't wait to see Brandon out there with Deebo and Kittle - I'm creaming my pants just thinking of it.

Is it crazy that he reminds me of Odell ? But more physical bc he'll add more weight due to muscle, Watching his tape more and he just has that burst and acceleration after the catch.

I'm tempering my expectations for him this year. No mini-camps, no preseason games, and essentially half the usual TC practices is going to make it hard on rookies this year. Even in a normal off-season it can take rookie WRs awhile to get a hang of things. Deebo arguably had our best rookie season for a WR since Rice and even then he wasn't much of a factor until about halfway through the season.

Good point, plus the fact Shanahan playbook for a WR is tough to grasp like Deebo pointed out.

More reason to bring in AB
