Originally posted by CatchMaster80:Williams has played well other than a couple of bad games earlier in the season. You have to consider that he had no pre season to work with the other guys and little or no training camp. He came in and replaced their leader but had no time to bond with any of them. The center position has been a mess all year so they have needed to move guys around which messes up the rotation. It's really hard for me to look at the O lineman as individuals since there is so much teamwork involved in blocking. If a line can hold together for at least 2 consecutive years then they have a chance to be pretty good. Letting him go would be a big mistake for a group that isn't highly talented unless they plan on using their first pick on a tackle.

If we wants to set the market, we gotta let him walk.

Except Trent is considered one of the best at his position. We can't say the same thing about Jimmy now can we?

Agree. Still don't think we can afford to overpay anyone

It's the nfl. Half the league gets overpaid

Very true. Also if we lose Trent, window is closed. Our line is bad enough. Also I hate when teams totally blow up the market.

Don't think the window will be closed tho if they hit on those picks but it'll be much better if they keep a 1st ballot hall of Famer rather than hope to find a stud at LT. I don't think they'll let Trent walk tho
