I'm way more optimistic about Trent re-signing than Sherman, I knew it would be tight cap wise, I just wish we could keep Sherm too, but Trent and Juice IMO are key, then get Verrett and Hyder back. But this offseason may suck big time, maybe end up losing a bunch of good players.

Not only players but coaches as well.

Dude played 2 bad games and all of a sudden he's trash to some on here supposedly if you have a bad game as an all pro you suck and everything you did before is erased. Man if Kittle drops a pass or 2 and misses a block there's gonna be guys in here saying he fell off and that contract is horrible lol

So true good old webzone

have you guys not seen the games he's played this year??? lol he was missing blocks and dropping balls. Contract still a steal though, but damn...don't expect that from him.

Williams has to be high priority along with what to do with Jimmy.
he had a solid year with the 49ers. He will be on a new team in 2021 and that team will enjoy his decline.

Wrong
One year ago fans were talking about a new dynasty. Now the team is faced with a QB that can't stay healthy, a roster that's full of free agents with very little cap room and a DC that may leave and take some coaches and players with him. Plus they have Bosa coming back from a serious knee injury and the other pass rusher unable to play and likely to be gone. Shortest dynasty in history.

Shorter than Seattle's 1 in a row dynasty.

He'll be re-signed IMO, I'm feeling more like they'll re-sign Trent, Verrett, Hyder, & Juice, I'm 50/50 on Sherm, K'Waun, and Jones.

Christ I can't stand this place sometimes, so much pessimism, the team had 1 good year, so they had a bad 2020 compared to 2019, people are acting like the 49ers are the only team with salary cap issues, when most of the NFL will have issues with the cap, after all the cap is going down by as much as $40M.

This a niner board AB of course it seems like ppl only care about the Niners cap situation. Our front office made several mistakes. That doesn't mean other teams didn't mistakes either. We just don't care as much. Ppl are just frustrated b/c we can clearly see guys that we won't be able to afford while paying guys who aren't contributing
