I hope so - otherwise we are forced to go OT in the draft.
again!
man jimmy has it good down here.. doesn't play and has OT's getting signed and drafted all over the place.. and $84mill in the bank already

Yeah, he stealing money.
Not sure how he's stealing money, injuries are apart of the game, not sure where you guys are getting the $84M in the bank number, he's earned a bit over $64.5M in his career, and he didn't take home $64.5M, remember taxes, what is it like 13% in CA, not sure in MA, plus he gets taxed for each game he played outside those states.

I know it's just part of the game, but it's still frustrating as hell.

Agreed with that, it is frustrating as hell that we've yet to see much of, or none of Jimmy, Dee, Richburg, Blair, Kittle, etc.. Sucks, but again part of the game, but yeah sucks.

I'm also very optimistic.
Total bummer if he isn't here.

Pay the man now.
Trent was awesome in pass pro on Monday night. Mario Addison tried everything from speed, inside moves, bull rush, counter spin, and even stunts but nothing was working. pic.twitter.com/AUENmmza4A

Ford's and Richburg's contracts have been the biggest hammer on us, IMO. It really sucks with Richburg because we need him so badly. The center spot is just getting owned. I was seeing, when Richburg tore his patellar tendon that worst case scenario it was a 9 month injury, yet here we are, over a year from it.
What I'm wondering is, since they said the setback was in a shoulder injury that ended up needing surgery, how did it take so long to figure out the shoulder needed surgery? I mean, good grief.

Wait, where did you hear it was a shoulder injury that was the setback, not the knee?

Shanahan presser back in October: https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/49ers/49ers-weston-richburg-suffered-shoulder-setback-while-rehabbing-knee
"He had the knee from last year and then he had shoulder surgery that happened during the offseason." Shanahan said. "The shoulder surgery really set him back. I'm not sure which one set him back the worst."

Trent Williams, when asked why he didn't play last year in Washington: "If it was about the money, I could've taken the money from Minnesota. ... It wasn't about the money. It was about respect."

From the way Mcglinchy and the other linemen have played, it will be negligent to not keep Trent.
