Bye Trent

He's not going anywhere. Why they overreaction because of a win? If we are drafting QB the guy we were getting will still be there.

Absolutely not rofl.

There's a huge drop off after Lawrence, Fields, Wilson and Lance and we're guaranteed to not get any of those four guys.

Why do people think we'll lose Trent, we'll sign him to a deal worth likely $18M to $20M a year, but the real thing is structure, he'll have a $5.5M cap number, and the guarantees are what matter to players, he'll get $40M GTD IMO, APY matters more to agents.
I wonder if Jimmy G will take a pay cut? With this win, we're out of the hunt for a top 4 QB this year, without trading away tons of picks to move up. I wouldn't mind trading Jimmy G away, and bringing in someone like Fitzpatrick on the cheap to start for a year or 2 while we try to draft and groom our QB of the future.

Lmfaoooo this team is about winning a SB not being stuck on mediocre with freaking Fitzpatrick

Fitzpatrick is arguably better than Jimmy. At least Fitzpatrick has stretches where he actually elevates his team.

He'd be massively cheaper too.

This, I'm not wasting my time arguing that dumb take.

Been hearing and reading that the cap drop may not be as big as first thought. AB what does a Richenburg and Ford cut do cap wise and is it even feasible?

Around $5.724M for Dee and $4.496M for Richburg, so a little over $10M that'll easily help keep Juice and Trent on low yr 1 cap numbers. They should also be able to retain K'Waun, Hyder, Verrett, and tender Moseley, Brunskill, Harris, & Wilson.

ALL of them AND keep Jimmy at his ridiculous cap hit? In a cap-straddled year?

Dude you are so full of it. No chance. The only way that works is if the cap doesn't exist (though the Saints are definitely convincing me it doesn't)

Why do you think anyone of those QBs are what Kyle wants? I think the guy he wants will be there after we get a CB, OL, or DE first.

1. I never said keep Jimmy at his price tag, he'll either be cut/traded or have his deal restructured, and 2. I'm used to it, he might be one of the members who were upset that I posted a GoFundMe for my Dog last November. No big deal.
