I think so. Synder had no choice but to let Shanny win this trade.

I thought this forum always complain about the team not making bold moves. Wonder if this move silence them for the next 4 hours.

Oh without question he did, DC had him all but traded to Minn and Williams said nope. No one is gonna trade for him if he's not planning on giving him an extension

Dude, if he leaves after next year we almost for sure get a 3rd round comp pick for him. And if he re ups with us we get a franchise left tackle for the next 5 years for a 3rd and a 5th, STEAL

He's not leaving he's gonna get a fat contract extension

That's not what I read from that tweet. Sounds like we're going to bump up his pay for this year only. Then he walks? Hope not?

Seems like this is THE year to lock in good guys on long term deals if you can. It will seem like a bargain by this time next year assuming the cap goes up dramatically over the next few years as expected.

If the NFL plays games this season without fans in the stands the cap will actually go down before it jumps back up the following year.
I'm more concerned with how Trent Williams and Richard Sherman will exist on the same team after Trent slap the s**t out of him after a game.

But they are all grown up now 🤔😆
I want to see Staley on the coaching staff or in the FO yesterday

"Reports" said he nixed the Vikings deal because he didn't want to play there. Most "reports" are pretty generic but that one seemed awfully specific.

Yep, kinda sad he couldn't get a ring. Great player and team mate.

No more excuses .... Jimmy G got himself a brick wall to buy him a few more seconds in the pocket

Lol yea Jimmy will have time now..

The interior of the O-line flowed like a broken pipe.. Even the backup tackles handled themselves well throughout the year. They weren't the problem, IOL was.

Staley did the team a solid by not announcing anything prior to the draft.
Great trade having too many draft picks with the current circumstances not a good thing no time to devolpe
having a new left tackle with experience in Shanahan"s system ready to go is the wright thing to do
Gore, Staley, Willis deserved rings
