Any team with a young and promising QB is gonna be way more interesting for Trent than the Niners with Jimmy.

Just being objective here: If I'm TW and the Chiefs will pay me, I'm going there. I get to play with Mahomes and stupid stacked offense led by Andy Reid AND make more money with lower income tax.

Yea, the Chiefs make sense. They're legitimate perennial Super Bowl contenders and they need a tackle. They'll find a way to make cap room and Trent will get to go to an actual winner. I'm sure he'd like to stay here, but not for less money and not if he wants the best shot at winning a Super Bowl. He's in his 30s, he can't afford to gamble one of his few remaining shots at being part of a winning team on the small likelihood that Jimmy stays healthy.

If you have your mind set on making money, you can make money anywhere. The difference in taxes between California and Missouri alone is worth millions.

Just took a look at OTC and cheifs have only about 12 million in cap space. So if the chiefs can't pay Trent, the obvious choice is the 49ers.
