Agree, I"m thinking he gets multiple offers today, and he takes the top offer and gives it to the 48ers and tells them to match it. And they will.

Albert Beer this AM said that he believes he stays in SF and they're willing to give him $20M per (whatever that means, it's about the GTD cash).

Sounds like this was the plan from his agent, he wanted to hear from others to see how crazy his market would be... he's gonna get paid a s**t ton of money no matter where he goes.

No discount for SF, but end of the day the fit here is perfect....he's got the coaching he wants, the system he wants, this team is setting up to win a ton of games etc etc.

DAMNIT, now I'm stressing out, I hope to god we get a deal done with Trent as soon as the tamper period is opened, let him see what others will offer, let the 49ers match it or beat it, we should be able to do so IMO, but damnit, was hoping maybe they had a deal done, and would announce it today after Juice's yesterday, kinda giving Juice yesterday, and Trent today to be in the spotlight.

I don't think KC will be able to sign him, they have other big needs, they can't afford to sign Trent, and then just draft the rest of the guys they need. I still think he ends up back in SF, I get he wants to test FA, but also the 49ers did right by him when they negotiated that deal to allow no tag, that shows the 49ers organization will do what it takes to get the players and do for them. Look they just gave Juice a raise, Trent is well worth $20M+, I'm guessing the 49ers made an offer in the $20M+ a yr, $60M GTD, letting him see what else is out there, I just hope he's true to his word, and like he said no rebuild, and he wants to be a 49er.
