I have no issue with that, nor would I have with $60M+($50M Fully GTD), or even as high as $22M a yr.

me either....if you can't pay the best left tackle in football, who the hell can you pay?

lock it up and let's move on, please.

x2

Get him and start plugging much needed holes elsewhere.
He's gonna hear offers first. I would if I were him. That's the best decision for him financially. I'm sure he won't choose a higher contract for a s**tty team. He wants to win also

Jimmy's agent should be in touch with Trent's. Without Williams, JG has little chance of being successful or even finishing the season.

Jimmy had Williams last year and still couldn't be successful or finish the season

luckily we don't have to play in that s**tbox stadium (jets/giants) again this year!

Just gonna rule out the Giants going to the playoffs and having home field advantage? Yeah me too

He's already seen offers, I'll bet money on that
Always take guys that say "I want to win" with a grain of salt.
KC is probably going to sign him. They've cleared up the cap space to do so. They might be able to convince him to sign for less than what we're offering since they offer the best chance of winning a SB.

They still have vastly less cap space than we do.

It's us or the Colts. If KC somehow gets him then we reallllly dropped the ball.

I don't think there is any chance he chooses to sign somewhere else for less money. More money? Yes, but not for less money.

Why would he not sign with kc... they are closer to winning a super bowl that we are.. all the time. we are lectured to that free agents will sign here for less money to play for kyle and cuz we supposedly have a shot to make the super bowl. as we saw,. we were a one year wonder. kc is there for the long haul. and kc is a cheap place and cheap state to live in compared to california. the niners for once in their life. better have a plan to replace trent,. if he goes.. with someone as good or better than him.. our history is littered with examples of letting good people go with no plan or a poor plan to replace said person

unless that comes from people talking about the niners. according to homers. lol
On Twitter right now

I just dont have a good feeling about this. Some lame and desperate team wont pay him what he's worth, but what they NEED.
