This isn't a business that is based on loyalty for either side. Trent doesn't owe us anything. He's either going to go to the team that gives him the most money or the one that gives him the best chance to win a ring. We're not close to being the latter, so we better be the former if we want to keep him.
What would make the 2021 roster so much worse than the 2019 roster? Seems like we're close as long as dudes don't drop like flies during the season.....

Who knows but Greg Papa works for the 49ers and has been in the NFL for 24 years. Probably Trent's agent, tho.

Seems unlikely he is coming back. Either the 49ers leaked the contract details in the hope of making it seem like they did everything in their power, or TW's camp leaked the details because they are going elsewhere for more. Here's to hoping I am wrong
