If we don't resign Trent, we better use that money on good players of positional need.

Why is this a surprise? They've been saying 20 mil/year for 2 weeks now. This is exactly that. Also, as NY said this means absolutely nothing it's all about guarantees.
No, no. Go back and read. This is not about the value or the amount. It is about: Foooooooouuuuuur Yeeeeeeeaaaaaarrrsss, Eiiiiiigggggghhhhttttyyyyyyy milllllllllllllllllllliooooooooooonnnnnnnn dooooooooolllllllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrssssssss.
And how much stupid money that really is. I want you to say it out loud:
Foooooooouuuuuur Yeeeeeeeaaaaaarrrsss, Eiiiiiigggggghhhhttttyyyyyyy milllllllllllllllllllliooooooooooonnnnnnnn dooooooooolllllllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrssssssss.
what is even happening?
I need you to say it with me to truly grasp the undeniably stupid amount of money we are talking here:
Foooooooouuuuuur Yeeeeeeeaaaaaarrrsss, Eiiiiiigggggghhhhttttyyyyyyy milllllllllllllllllllliooooooooooonnnnnnnn dooooooooolllllllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrssssssss.
It helps if you say it slow....
Okay we get it lol...
How do I know that for a fact? You did not say it.
Say it with me, Jerry.
Foooooooouuuuuur Yeeeeeeeaaaaaarrrsss, Eiiiiiigggggghhhhttttyyyyyyy milllllllllllllllllllliooooooooooonnnnnnnn dooooooooolllllllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrssssssss.

If the Niners lose TW what will they do with the rest of their cap space? Right now it appears they have about $28 Million in cap space after the Dee Ford restructure. Alex Mack I assume with be one target which would happen, even with signing TW. Do they turn their focus back to signing some their other free agents like Kwaun, Taart, and Hyder?. Do they go looking for other Oline help that couple replace TW?

Ah I see where you are coming from. Definitely a wad of cash but it is all relative. He is one of the top three in the world at what he does. The top 2 authors made 70 and 92 mil per YEAR respectively! So if you asked them 80 over four isn't great haha!

Oh, no doubt. No doubt at all, my man. But I just want people to say it out loud so they can think to themselves..."Holy f**k balls. That is a wholelotta money!"

You also cant tell Trent how to manage his living costs.
And you can't tell me his living costs are 20 mil per. He's stacking with that kind of $ no matter where he lives
He need 5 Ferraris, not 4.
Reminds me of the movie The Replacements and that is in the background of that interview with that Brad Johnson look alike and the Lineman is like, do you how much taxes are on a Lambo MothaF**** lol.

I bet he has not earned any money in his career yet so 20 Million/year is just managing his living costs.
If 20 mil a year just manages his living costs he should strongly consider his lifestyle choices. I mean with that much $$$ coming in his money should be making money not just getting him by year to year
have you checked how much he and others pay in taxes in cal..

You cant ever blame another person for trying to get the most money, especially if they can. Most of us would be doing the same thing. Very few of us would go work at another company for less money.

Papa says #49ers have a 4-$80M on table for @TrentW71 , no other details. Will have to come up to keep 71. Have to be creative, other teams (Indy) have more $ space and need as well.

Yeah, that won't do. Looks like we're not gonna be able to afford him after all. Time to start considering replacements.

Well it's information out there that says, maybe Trent will cost more than what Greg Papa is stating was the 49ers initial offer. I think guys like Trent will cost more to keep, its the mid tier Hyder/Ebukam guys that will have a much smaller paycheck this free agency period.

Why would SF tell a broadcaster the contract info of one of their biggest FA signings in a while?

I agree and I'm not blaming him for getting the biggest bag possible. Just don't mix me with the "he needs it for his cost of living" bs
