I'm not telling anyone how to spend their money. If you make that much and it's not enough for you, than that's on you. To argue that he needs it for cost of living is crazy. I guess if he's trying to live like a King! Idk he probably is. I can't blame him. I'd get as much as possible too.

Idk. Not sure how I feel about $20mil a year for him. That's a lot of cap money for a non-Qb. I know he's great but I wonder if one of the top tackles in the draft could replace him adequately at a fraction of the cost?

A couple yrs ago...what like 2010? He wasn't the highest paid LT in football when he was 35/36...only reason he was paid as high as he was at that point was because of constant restructures.

Like I said $40M FGTD would be tops in the league for someone getting a 4 yr deal. He wants more then he would need a 5 yr deal which just allows SF to spread out the cash even more.

Market value is not 4yrs $90M $50M GTD...if it was he would have been gone already.

Maybe but that's a huge risk and far from a guarantee. First of all the best OTs would still have to be available at 12. Then did they choose the right one and is he going to be an all pro stud? Or they can just pay the guaranteed thing
