That's not what I read from that tweet. Sounds like we're going to bump up his pay for this year only. Then he walks? Hope not?

Seems like this is THE year to lock in good guys on long term deals if you can. It will seem like a bargain by this time next year assuming the cap goes up dramatically over the next few years as expected.

If the NFL plays games this season without fans in the stands the cap will actually go down before it jumps back up the following year.

Majority of revenue comes from TV deals etc. not from fans in the seats..

Yup the Majority does. But obviously no fans in the stadiums means LESS revenue. Less revenue = Lower salary cap.

If the stadiums are shut down, that means recreation everywhere is in short supply. TV ratings would be through the roof and could increase overall income. Supply and demand.

Ya, the networks would benefit greatly from that because the TV deals have already been negotiated at a set price. But the increased ratings will give the NFL leverage for getting a better deal in 2021 when the they expire though.

Lynch is like a riverboat gambler. Had a highly rated OT at 13 and passed. Then waits until the 3rd day to pull off a royal flush. OMG!

personally, I believe that this deal was already made before the draft... and this is the reason why Lynch went for another DT instead of drafting a young OT who's in front of him..

as usual, LYNCH just went about his business and did this quietly...
