FYI. AP, Carson Palmer, Jeremy Maclin, Chris Harris, Jason Kelce all had either their best statistical seasons and/or pro bowl years in the season following ACL repair.

You're right, expecting an oft-injured QB not to get injured is much more realistic. There has been no precedent established for him being injured, so expecting another is way out of line.

Armstead will be gone probably after 2022. Wouldn't shocked me of they worked on finding a guy that can effectively play both DE and DT this year. If Hyder is capable of playing inside and they can resign him, I'd say he is AA's replacement.

If you're going to replace AA in 2-3 years wouldn't you go for someone younger? in your timeline Hyder will be 32 before he takes a snap as AA's replacement.
