Are they that much smarter than us?

And it's more than the LT. We're paying the price for not being VERY aggressive in in the draft and FA in upgrading the whole OL.

We could have done it in 2 seasons. I know the draft is a crap shoot and we've definitely improved the secondary. We must do the same for the OL.

Most of our OL are solid back-ups who benefit from KS game plans. Ans our back-ups are practice squad kind of players.

Trent is the only difference maker and Aaron is solid.

If he's not playing every DC will have their best DE over Moore and McKivitz.

Yes.

trent is the top priority, that's the real Lambo in the garage.
We are nekkid without him

Sign him cut BA and I am ok with that.

Fixed the interior. All their tackles were worse than any 9er player last year. It's why Kingsley is starting, Morris is awful and Smith left.

Trent is 4th highest paid O-lineman in the NFL, on the list I saw, the oldest in the top 3 was 30, and the other two 23 and 25. Trent has played 89% of his 49er games and that number will drop as he is 36 years old and has not played a full season in over 10 years. If I was the GM I would tell him to kick rocks.

He already has a high salary and a signed contract. I think he just wants more guaranteed.

To hold out when you are already high paid and have a signed contract sets a bad precedent. More guys will do this. Just sets the team up to fail. But we do need him.

Trade him for a middle of the pack oline man and a pick in next years draft.

And we still have 2025 FA/purdy to sign. His health will go off a cliff like most athletes close to retiring. He gets hurt every year. I dont think holding out will improve that. f**king selfish.

49ers management mis read this situation. Not sure who wants to trade OL at this point.

If I could, i would trade him to the Edmonton Eskimos for some pelts

Why do we need to cut him? Makes zero sense.
