Gonna be annoyed if we make this trade and Trent is gone again next season.

Lynch should have learned from the 10 game sanders trade that you need to make sure when trading for these players that you will have them longer than a year.

I'm so tired of this take. Sanders was instrumental in getting us to the Super Bowl. Easily worth the trade even for the half season. Had we won there isn't a single person questioning the trade.

Agree, an all pro for a 5th this year and a 3rd next year isn't bad at all, and then drafted a OLineman in the all important hall of fame round (5th round) so if Trent walks and we can't get a deal with him, that OLineman drafted in todays draft in the 5th hopefully will be in hall of fame mode by next year.

Huge upgrade for us. People don't want to admit it but Joe Staley has always been average at best. Trent Williams is ELITE
