Been a few. But when you draft an all pro caliber a year outside the first round you can live with it.

NGL, Mahomes being their major hit is what puts them over the top.
Frustrates me that he's been the one that's thwarted us in two Super Bowls, but that's definitely a special QB right there. We have special players at certain positions, but they have it at QB. (I'm hopeful Brock Purdy takes another step this year, because Year 2 was extremely good!)

Now tell me about the 1st round. Minus Aiyuk who is excellent.

The DPOY Bosa is okay.

Who cares about the first rd. The first rd is the projected best players in the moment not in real terms over time. Go back look at all the re-drafts 3 years later. The 1st rd is hardly the silver bullet.

To a point that's true. But you still shouldn't miss this many 1st rounders. They have an absurd miss rate IMO.

KC has two 1st rd picks in the same time frame.

I don't even know how many 2nd rd picks they've resigned in the same time frame either

KC has been good in the later rounds and UDFA like we have. They've had some big time hits at corner and then having a monster like Chris jones helps. Then they hit on the cheetah. As well as HOF players like mahommes and Kelce.
no team is perfect at drafting and most are horrible. If you look at every teams drafts over the last five years - most are horrific

Thats the problem with the critics. They literally have no idea how the other 31 teams are drafting so they create this narrative on how well a team "should" be doing instead.
The only teams one can argue have drafted as well or better than the 9ers in the Shanny era are Philly and Baltimore. I'll take a top 5 drafting team all day. Doesn't mean they can't get better at where they have done poorly in the past.
I will say it's interesting that this years draft the 9ers were much closer to consensus boards then in the past. Washington however was all over the place. Be interesting to see if that continues moving forward. No more falling in love with any one player and going to get then no matter what.

Bingo. It's just wild some folks are complaining about this roster overall.
