I really, really feel for him with his personal issues, but giving him a raise was a big mistake. He had points in previous seasons where he was banged up and now was a year older. They should have seen this coming and told him to get into camp or move on.

They didn't position themselves to do so and he played them. Its a business right? He as much as said it. When Pearsall was shot he was like damn I need to come in etc... I get it, but for a guy like him I was disappointed.

Yeah, I completely get why he did it but I was disappointed. They really had no choice but to pay him because of the lack of alternatives.

whatever the truth is, if he's a man of honor, he'll heal up, regroup, recharge, get better and stronger and go to war at least one more year for us - next year. and if he can't last the season then so be it - you had a great career, trent.
Findng a right tackle that can move to left in a year or two is a definite priority in the draft or free agency.

Why not keep Moore at LT?

That's a possibility but we're talking about replacing one of the greatest left tackles ever. That's not Moore.

He's doing fine right now, and there's no way to ever replace Williams

I feel it's better to just get a true RT and have your tackles checked off the list

If you're talking about Williams it's probably because of what happened withthe loss of his twins along with injuries.
I know Moore has been surprisingly good on the left side so far, but I still don't trust him lol

He was taking plays off to suck oxygen in games after his hold out. He was way heavier and out of shape.
Bill B always played it let em go one year early then one year late. We need to get younger at many positions to continue. Trent will end be it in three games or in one more year. The clock has already started even if we are bummed about it.

It seems Moore has justified the faith the coaches had in him. He is ranked #16 overall tackles in the league. So, while that is not up to Trent's standard, it is better than 60 other tackles with the minimum number of snaps.

This will go down as the worst contract in all of sports history.

Told ya
Not sure how it's the worst in all of sports

Probably not the worst but it is hardly team friendly. The fact that he put the team over a barrel, late in his career, right before training camp goes to show his lack of team and a lack of desire to win. Guys like Brady that defer and re negotiate their contracts so the team can sign players is something we need more of on this team. The Bosas, Deebos and BA that holdout and try and get every last dime in market value then s**t the bed will not help this team moving forward. In fact it's a cancer, management needs to be better prepared.
Based in what I've seen I think our QB can survive with Moore/McKivitz as tackles IF we can get 3 really good interior linemen which would mean replacing Brendel and Banks for good players.
Moore has been average at best. Ppl around here tend to call everybody great after a few games. Then the next year when they stink you guys wonder what happened. See Brendal, Burford, and Banks. Moore is not the answer. We need real talent to win a SB especially at LT.
