They better!

But to your point, the MM example is encouraging to me. Each off season, I try to think a year or two out like they do. That's why the Aiyuk trade talk was not surprising to me at all.

I mean if they were gonna move McG (which they said they were actively trying to do) who's the starting RT last yr?

who cares about his contract…why would you overpay him, when his market was not even remotely close to do that?

All I'm saying right or wrong, I bet they like him a whole hell of a lot more than people in here do.

So what low level talent only applies to OL and every other position outside of QB? Cause people been telling me overall talent level doesn't matter there lol.

also I'm with you they better draft some lineman

If they could have traded him, no doubt they'd have drafted his replacement.

You're probably right in that they view him higher than fans. That's what scares me. LOL. But we'll see! You never know. He's not the kind of talent that makes you feel we've upgraded over MM and that's what we really need to get to the next level.

Haha...talent matters. Don't listen to that noise.

Dawand Jones and Freeman were on the board, we don't pick again until the 5th and we take a ****ing kicker and a ****ing broken tight end.

Seahawks and Eagles got better.

This front office is so ****ing dumb. Holy ****.

K. Still a hyperbolic overreaction IMHO.

Seahawks and Eagles got new talent, but those players are not guaranteed to live up to their draft status. Maybe they got better, maybe they didn't... we'll see.

I think he meant, they at least attempted to get better.

Trent will be 35 this year and 36 next year. My hope is that they find somebody currently on the team or maybe a first rounder in next years draft to challenge Trent for the starting left tackle spot. I don't know if they can find someone in the next six picks to replace Trent, perhaps maybe to back up McKivitz at RT or to challenge him - but you need a high quality left tackle in this league to protect your franchise QB.

I enjoy how you made sure to point out next year Trent will be one year older than he is this year lmao.

The Niners are screaming at you that they value this guy as a starter and people still question it??

They have absolutely nailed their calls on literally every other spot on the OL. Pretty sure that buys them the benefit of the doubt.
