But to your point, the MM example is encouraging to me. Each off season, I try to think a year or two out like they do. That's why the Aiyuk trade talk was not surprising to me at all.
I mean if they were gonna move McG (which they said they were actively trying to do) who's the starting RT last yr?
who cares about his contract…why would you overpay him, when his market was not even remotely close to do that?

If they could have traded him, no doubt they'd have drafted his replacement.
You're probably right in that they view him higher than fans. That's what scares me. LOL. But we'll see! You never know. He's not the kind of talent that makes you feel we've upgraded over MM and that's what we really need to get to the next level.
