Best ever hunh? The emotional overreactions are just
Dawand Jones and Freeman were on the board, we don't pick again until the 5th and we take a ****ing kicker and a ****ing broken tight end.
Seahawks and Eagles got better.
This front office is so ****ing dumb. Holy ****.
K. Still a hyperbolic overreaction IMHO.
Seahawks and Eagles got new talent, but those players are not guaranteed to live up to their draft status. Maybe they got better, maybe they didn't... we'll see.
I think he meant, they at least attempted to get better.
And the guys we drafted isn't an attempt? You can't knock the front office for overdrafting but then not praise them for getting a great value pick in Brown. The same mocks that had Latu and Moody later had Brown going earlier than 87. Need + value makes it a great pick. The tight ends are even more highly regarded than what anyone thought, so maybe Latu waa drafted right where he should've been. I'm on record for hating the Moody pick and I stand by it. But we got the best kicker in the draft and of he pans out, it's at a fraction of the cost of Gould. All 3 will be starters or play significant snaps this year.
Also the Eagles getting better logic is like arguing Jalen Carter is better than Javon Hargrave. Even in my hope for Moody, at no point would I argue he's better than Gould. The Eagles are worse until proven otherwise. Still going to be a really good team, but I'm not crowning them on the strength of adding a guy who was 9 lbs heavier at his pro day and couldn't even finish his drills. Are you kidding me?
I wonder if the people worshipping at the altar of Jalen Carter were kicking Drake Jackson for wearing down as the season went on.
