Nice depth and competition. He should beat out our one FA...Tom Compton!

That's fine. Brunskill the LTotF
Seems like a solid developmental pick for RG

Brief Our Lads write-up on McKivitz . . .

A four year starter that has played both tackle positions. McKivitz has average size and power that will need to be developed over the course of a year or two, but the former all state high school basketball player has light and quick feet and good balance. Combine that with a strong will to win the one on one battles, a case can be made he is one of the top tackles that will be available day three.

Hopefully with a NFL teams conditioning program he can add some more strength and such to step into a starting role for us....hard worker with a team first attitude sounds good
Also dang good that he has a ton of starts in a competitive college conference.

Expecting him to move to OG for us. We already are three-deep at OT behind the starters with the promising Skule, Brunskill, and Shonn Coleman coming off of injury. We are in trouble on the IOL where Richburg is coming off injuries, Garland is the top IOL backup, and Brunskill is the assumed RG starter but needs more competition. Tom Compton doesn't figure to be that much of a threat.

I do like the T to G move...usually you get better pass protection (more refined) and that's our true need. And with Brunskill, he probably helped confirm that more.
Our OL got a lot nastier today. Plus apparently his dad makes a mean coon skin hat lol.
I am loving what John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan are doing!
Extra Nasty just screams G

PETA protests every Sunday outside Levi's.

They showed his highlights on ESPN and he lined up almost everywhere in them
Why the hell did we draft him? We have depth at OL right now. Bryce Hall was available, and we need a CB more then we need an Offensive Lineman now.
Hopefully a long term Tomlinson replacement.

Played G at the senior bowl too. We don't need him at OT. Skule, Coleman, and Brunskill (sometimes) is lots of depth.
