McKivitz has average size and power that will need to be developed over the course of a year or two, but the former all state high school basketball player has light and quick feet and good balance. Combine that with a strong will to win the one on one battles, a case can be made he is one of the top tackles that will be available day three.

Hopefully with a NFL teams conditioning program he can add some more strength and such to step into a starting role for us....hard worker with a team first attitude sounds good

We are in trouble on the IOL where Richburg is coming off injuries, Garland is the top IOL backup, and Brunskill is the assumed RG starter but needs more competition. Tom Compton doesn't figure to be that much of a threat.

They showed his highlights on ESPN and he lined up almost everywhere in them
