They will draft OT in the first round to replace retiring Trent Williams. I just have this feeling Williams will be hanging it up after this season.

I thought the Lions moved Hutchinson around a lot? If that isn't the case, and he will be lined up over McKivitz, I can imagine that Kyle will have Kittle or another TE on that side to at least provide a chip block to help out. The 49ers can also move Juszczyk up on the line. next to McKivitz to provide additional support if needed. The team simply cannot have a repeat of last year's NFC Championship Game where Reddick got into the backfield early and managed to destroy the 49ers title hopes.

I hope that Kyle has learned a lesson from that game. I hope.

I just hope this dude ate his Wheaties and has the best game of his life these next 2 games. If not we'll have to run at Hutchinson to keep him honest on the playaction, kinda like what we did vs Parson.

but getting rid of the most experienced RT that is under contract for late round rookies or a journeyman who doesn't know the system is putting us at another risk

How about having the new guy actually beat Mck first. No one should argue that
