We just went to a Super Bowl, so there aren't gaping holes left in our roster. But imo CB is one of the primary areas of concern moving forward.

It is. What they have done is pushed that need to the 2021 draft. Seemingly Spoon will get one more year to show something or they spend money and picks on the position in 2021.

I'd rather they took Runyan.
More beasts added to a super bowl loaded roster
Something about 'coon hunt'n and BBQ...

Maybe not...don't forget they have Teez Tabor, Tim Harris, Verrett, Tarvarius Moore. The cupboard's not empty. It's quite possible JL/KS feel they have good depth that'll show itself this season.
i like this dude lol.
I like that Colton sees himself as a prick...he likes to get inside guy's heads if he can. Seems like a guy who won't back down if challenged so brings an attitude to the OL that's welcome in my eyes. I think that group could use some attitude...and this guy'll bring it. Sees himself as a civilized redneck...love it!!

I got 99 problems...and lack of twitchiness is one.
I like this pick. Solid depth inside and could play T in a pinch.
Kyle loves this kid. According to the article on the front page, he was our Plan B if we didn't land Trent. That says something!

I dunno about that...I feel like we say stuff like that to make things look better but in a way it makes it scary knowing how close things could've been to disaster.

I'll take their word for it given how Lynch and Shanahans track record

Can you imagine this place if we drafted Aiyuk at 14 over Lamb/Jeudy and then got Colton in the 4th round to replace Joe?

Obviously we'd still have the 31st pick to do something with but knowing people in here nothing they would've done there would've changed taking Aiyuk that high.

Having said that...I'm certainly glad things worked out the way they did. Hopefully we'll feel that way 10+ years from now.
