Yup, that's exactly what it is. Now they need to find his replacement.

how can anyone think he doesn't need competition?

Yeah I mean he was a 5th rd pick. I'd say he outplayed his draft spot. Doesn't mean he should be a starting RT on a team that's trying to win a SB.

I was just being facetious. In reality I've always felt he was serviceable. He's a great guy to have as your swing tackle. He's definitely not a guy you want as your bookend on a super bowl contending team.
When Trent returns why not move Moore to RT? He's been getting rave reviews this camp for his work filling in for Trent. If you can play LT you can play RT. I think Moore would be a big upgrade over Mckivitz.

My starting 5 week 1

Trent
Banks
Feliciano
Puni
Moore

I mean KC just won with two guys who were worse than Colton last year.

Hubbard can play. If MckIvitz struggles play him.

The Chiefs made the super bowl on the strength of their defense last season. Their offensive line also led the league in holding calls last year. Yet somehow got zero holding calls against them in the super bowl. I'm not saying it's impossible to win a super bowl with a guy like McKivitz I'm just saying it's not ideal to have him as one of the main bookends.

Sure. Gonna have a weak spot somewhere though. Can ya mitigate becomes the question.

I'm no guru but from what I understand left to right is a big difference. Muscle memory and things like that.

The chiefs RT was bad as well. The difference for the chiefs (as always), is they have mahomes

I said it last year and i think it stillstands.
If he is the weak link, the line will be great.

Honestly, I'm more concerned with Banks on this play and his lateness off the ball. Dude looks asleep at the snap, gets walked back and displaced.

I agree with that. I'll also say, in an ideal world, he's the swing tackle or just a backup at RT. Granted it will take some great fortune for that to happen, but would love to see it. It would be indicative of how much line talent we have.
This dude sucks even more now. Thank God we drafted a WR round 1.
