Agreed that he might become our new slot guy. Taylor+James+Benjamin are his competition, Taylor is always hurt, Benjamin isn't guaranteed anything, and James is a borderline 53 guy. If Jennings looks balls out, those other 3 guys are gone.

There's also Finke now who will also compete for a spot as a slot receiver, that is why these guys are all going to have to bring something to the table when it comes to special teams too.

Agreed, Finke might be on our PS though. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing Taylor+Pettis traded if we can get something for them, this way we move on from them while getting something in return. Auyuk+Jennings are better for this team going forward, and I like Samuel+Hurd with them, and Bourne on his final year to see if he continues to develop, or if Hurd starts to take his playing time.

Lol automatic fan favorite. By the little I've seen, I like the guy though myself. Effort alone can always be appreciated.

Absolutely, but how often is he going to get open? Hardly ever in practice, even Sherman's slow grampa butt can stick to this guy like glue

If he's in the slot, he could get physical with slot corners. They're on the smaller side a lot of the time. I could see him getting contested catches. And then blowing them up on run plays.

And s**t if he doesn't ever end up doing anything then it's all good. He's only a 7th rounder. They hardly ever hit.
