Man, it's going to hurt when we lose this. What a f**king player.

I wonder if we can extend him now to a reasonable deal. His agent prob gonna tell him no, ride it out.

If we make a serious offer they could take it. He could get hurt and lose the bag.

He's going to want to test the market. Teams are going to throw money at him, and I don't blame him.

He is a restricted free agent, so we have the option to match any offer, but there's no way we can afford to pay him starting WR money.
I would offer a 2nd Rd tender. We need AB to tell us how we could keep him.
He's the definition of a perfect #3 receiver.

Love his game but he's going to get paid and we can't afford him. He'll probably get an Allen Larzard contract as they are similar receivers although I do think Jennings is better. (Great blockers, good size, physical, not the fastest) These type of receivers are tough to keep as they get #2 receiver money but aren't exactly in that tier.

I wonder if we'd consider trading Deebo to keep Jennings and drafting a speed slot as well as successor to Deebo.
I can see Ran Carthon giving him a bigger deal in Tennessee. Damn shame, he's exactly what we need. I guess he could get a higher round grade, so we get better compensation

It is still an interesting idea. Going raw speed RAC in place of Deebo's power RAC. Then letting Kittle, Jennings, and a dash of Juz be the power side.

It might free up space to go get Henry and/or Al-Shaair.

Only problem I see with a trade is the contract. Only offer we got at his peak in 2022 was not great, and his cap hit in 2024 is over 28 million, and over 24 million in 2025. I don't know who bites on that

He has way more worth on this team than Deebo. Brock needs traditional receivers that can run routes. Not gadget players that help a limited quarterback like Jimmy G

That's absurd. Teams aren't gameplanning to stop Jennings. We literally went through a losing stretch that was attributed to not having Deebo. With that said, I am curious as to what the offense would look like with Jennings, Aiyuk, and a speedster as our top 3 wideouts. I only say this because Deebo carries a big price tag and as much as I love him, I can't see him getting a 3rd contract anywhere near his current number with this team. Furthermore, with better pass and run blocking on this O-line, I'm thinking Jauan can give us 800 or so yards a season in more of a traditional receiver role. I think a better way to state this is we can get the same yardage (or close) for a much smaller price tag. `We are definitely going to have to figure out how to make this team cheaper long term. There's a lot of $10 million + contracts to not have won it all, though I think that's more a function of team building/drafting philosophy, but the point still stands.

I think a Deebo type of player can work with the way our offense is evolving, but it has to be at a significantly lower price point. I'd let him play out his deal and look to draft a guy that can run, catch, return kicks, punts, etc.

Hoping we can bite the bullet and get through this without having to do an extension.
Juan played his ass off. He would've been mvp if we won. Deebo got 11 targets and put up 33 yards. You can't win when your top receiver does that.
easily one of my favorite players. Plays with heart and desire.
This guy is a baller !
he gives it all on each play until the whistle and also until the last one of the game !
I tend to value him more than Deebo whose efforts arent as constant since he got his bag.
Tender 2nd round seems fair

It's pretty nice having a legitimate 6'3" bodied WR with a big catch radius for a shortish QB that doesn't always get the cleanest window to throw through. He's that classic 90s WCO flanking WR.

I can't help but wonder what Jauan could do as a starter.

He's come a long ways. I'd love to see it!
Interesting off season.

We can't pay everyone.

Aiuyk is on 5th year and will cost a bundle next year. Could be easy to trade to a team like Houston.

DeeBo is making mega bucks and would, IMO, be difficult to trade.

Though spot. Rock & a hard place.

IMO, keeping Jennings would be great and I don't think we've seen his best yet!

If we play him more I believe he'll emerge as top flight receiver.

And much less $$$ than Brandon & DeeBo/
