Just drafting a burner isn't necessarily the answer. He has to be able to run routes and catch. They drafted Danny Grey and he's fast but isn't really any good. WR is more than just being fast or big. Same as QB is more than just being fast or big.

Jennings is becoming one of my favorite players. He knows how to play the position and fights for the ball. He makes up for his lack of speed by using his body and knowing how to get open. He reminds me of Hines Ward a little. Both played QB in college but switched to receiver. Gene Washington did the same at Stanford when Plunkett came there.

Disagree 2nd round tender is the sweet spot. 2 million is 2 million and if the niners get a 2024 second round pick for Jennings I am at peace with it

Good post and agree.

He has that type of toughness Hines displayed and made him a force to be reckoned with during every play he was on the field.

Sad to say but he may provide more value than Deebo. He's clutch and gets open when it matters most. Not a big fan of Deebo the RB. It's gimmicky. Deebo is a beast but i'm over him. Trading Deebo wouldn't upset me as I think he is severely overpaid. Diff thread though! Love me some Jauan!
