Social Media is the best thing that ever happened to sports.

Now we get to hear directly from the player without middle man (sports reporters).

Now we get sports reporters reporting on players social media posts .

Agree 💯%, and it's nice to actually hear from them directly and also see their demeanor when they talk. Back when Dwight Clark was playing, you didn't have that. At most you had print media describing what was happening. Personally - I think a lot of big media sports writers are no longer necessary - specially if you have guys like David Lombardi (and others not named similar to the word Cone) with his own channel feeding the faithful with tons of content.

Absolutely, taking away the "spin" from the reporter is the big win.

The world definitely has changed. With the advent of social media and so much interconnectedness - it puts a premium on critical thinking and the ability to be discerning with regards to information. If one doesn't' have discernment, they will be mislead by all the fake news out there. The truth, unfortunately in today's world, is hidden by a cloud of internet lies and misinformation.

Heh, that's a hard question to answer. A lot of it depends on which side you are on - example - left or right.

Lombardi says what you wanna hear.
Cohn says what you don't wanna hear.

I guess you don't realize that both are playing the character they created to get clicks and money.

No. I know enough of football to know one guy is an idiot, and the other guy is just trying to give us some decent 49er content information.
I'm so happy he's here two more years.
